There are three albums that stand out in my mind as albums that just blew me away when I first heard them. Whenever I haven't listened to them in a while and I put them on I still get goose bumps.
Aerosmith - Rocks Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love Def Leppard - Pyromania
I could also throw in High and Dry by Def Leppard as well. I remember the first time I heard it. Man what a feeling that was.

I'll also throw in Def Leppard. Just horrible shit they have put out lately. I love their early stuff though. Some of the most Kick ass Albums ever.

I'd call Mister Varney and instruct him to find 12 of the most raucus, rippen' unknown bands with uknown, virtuoso lead guitarists. Tell them they'll have one track on a professionally produced, full length Cd and it will be heavily promoted world wide. Call it, World Metal Volume 1. The cover art would be a super-sized Stratocaster made up as a tank covered with crazed guitarists whacking pop stars upside the head with their guitars. The tank would have gigantic tank treads squashing rappers and an assortment of cheese-ball teen bands and such. I love this! Thank you for sharing man!

Imagine for a second, you have a band. A major record label has approached you and asked you to create the album that in your eyes is "Perfect." How would you go about creating it, what theme would it have, and most importantly, what genre of music would it be? Also what would your album cover look like?

I know when Friday comes about, some of us play in bands, and some of us go to listen to a band playing locally in the area that we live. So for all of you who are playing tonight, or going to check out some live music, discuss the topic at hand. Hope that everyone has a good time tonight

In the western suburb of Glendale Heights. L.A. Guns/featuring Tracii and Jizzy Pearl, along with Faster Pussycat. John is opening so after he gets done you can decide if you want to stay and see the others.... www.sharkcity.biz/

If you were the members of Quiet Riot, would you have continued after Kevin died?

I will also throw in Motley Crue as well. One good rockin song on their last album. The others were just filler in my opinion. Animal in Me was a decent ballad but nothing great.

Check this out........
Rumors began to fly last week that Poison singer/reality TV star Bret Michaels was going to walk down the aisle with his on again/off again girlfriend of 16 years (and mother of his two daughters) Kristi Lynn Gibson after she was spotted sporting a diamond ring. Michaels denied an engagement, telling CBS’s Early Show that the couple is a “work in progress” and the ring is just a “promise ring, a friendship ring with benefits.” He went on to say, “She's a beautiful woman. She's strong. I love her. We respect each other. And I think that's the start of a great relationship.”

Why is this?
Being closed minded is an ignorant thing to carry in life, especially when it comes to your trade or profession. Not being open to new ideas can really fuck you over. It burns many bridges also.
There are countless musicians out there who would rather do things their way, than do the right thing that works for the better. This leads to alot of band breakups and so forth. Axl Rose comes to mind here.

I have heard some real brutal singers out there. One that comes to mind is Joe Perry. His new album is just plain horrible. I believe if he could sing well that his solo albums would have been a success. I know I would have listened to them instead of using them for coasters.
So my question to you, should a band be required to have a good vocalist if they are gonna make a record?

Tommy Lee for being a wigger
Ted Nugent for bragging about how he only drank orange juice and didn't eat for a month to dodge the Vietnam War. He's a fuckin pussy.

If the album is twice as good as 1993's Exposed, it would still suck, IMO. lol!

What do you think of this? I am a huge Vince Neil fan and I was highly disappointed in this album. Two originals and the rest were covers that were not sung very well. If you listen to the old Crue albums his voice is good in my opinion. But on this record it just sounds off key. I know he is not a good live singer, but you would think they would have been able to work some studio magic with his voice.

Listened to his album a couple days ago. Was not impressed at all. Very disappointing! But this book will be a good read. I've had my struggles with substances as well so I know I will be interested in reading what he has to say about that.
