I think most people don't dig it is because Joe Perry is not on it & a lot of the songs are covers. The average person does not know that Joe Perry was indeed on the album. That is a shame cause he was. Prior to his departure, Perry had completed guitar parts for "No Surprize", "Chiquita", "Cheese Cake", "Three Mile Smile" and "Bone to Bone (Coney Island White Fish Boy)". The guitar parts for the remaining songs were recorded by Brad Whitford, Richie Supa, Neil Thompson, and Jimmy Crespo (who later became Perry's official replacement from 1979 to 1984).

They played all their "hits" at Ozzfest last night. I mean cmon , this is Ozzfest! This is a festival based on heavy metal. And the Crue plays Same ol Situation and Girls Girls Girls. They even played Home Sweet Home. I was hoping they would play stuff off of Shout at the Devil. But they didn't. I'm so glad I did not go to this show.

I find this very hard to believe. I think he has drank and tried drugs before. He claims he has never drank or done drugs. Cmon! He honestly wants me to believe he never did a hit off a joint or did a line at a party? Especially the parties he was invited to through his career with all the celebs and rockstars? Also with his sexual appetite, I'm sure he's ingested a few aphrodisiacs (drugs) to go hand and hand with his sex adventures. The whores he was banging back in the late 70's were party girls for sure. Im sure the drug and alcohol use was out in the open, and Im sure he may have done a few things he regrets nowdays.

It really amazes me that so many young people today who are in high school or recently graduated high school, don't know who Deep Purple or Status Quo is. The music is timeless and once they hear it, they go "Wow, that is some good shit. I can't believe I have never heard them before or why I never paid attention to them."

It definitely served it's person at the time & I credit the energy from the theme as what helped the Warrior get to the top of the WWF. When that music would start & the Warrior would run from the dressing room to the ring & shake the ropes their was just so much raw energy & adrenaline it really didn't matter how good in the ring he really was Well said

Pretty surprised not to see Tommy Lee on there. Same goes for the drummer for Dave Matthews Band.

On "We want the 80's glam/hair metal bands back" facebook page, these are the two bands that are in a "battle" of who is better.
I went with Tesla. Hands down the much more creative, tighter unit. Who do you think is the better band?
