Rumors began to fly last week that Poison singer/reality TV star Bret Michaels was going to walk down the aisle with his on again/off again girlfriend of 16 years (and mother of his two daughters) Kristi Lynn Gibson after she was spotted sporting a diamond ring. Michaels denied an engagement, telling CBS’s Early Show that the couple is a “work in progress” and the ring is just a “promise ring, a friendship ring with benefits.” He went on to say, “She's a beautiful woman. She's strong. I love her. We respect each other. And I think that's the start of a great relationship.”

OK? Bret Michaels might be a douche bag for many reasons for all I know but where you going to post something in this thread that would make him seem so? Because from the subject line I was lead to believe you where going to post something showing Bret do be a douchebag.

"According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department, around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies pulled over two tour buses near the 137 mile marker on Interstate 69 near the Ashley exit.
"After getting license and registration information from the drivers, trained Narcotics Detection K9s found marijuana on both of the buses, as well as a quantity of Schedule II controlled substances on the first bus. Deputies then learned Bret Michaels was onboard the second bus during the traffic stop. Charges will be forwarded to the DeKalb County Prosecutor's Office for review." more
The Toronto Sun reports that , "No arrests were made. Mr. Michaels allowed an open search of the buses and everything was handled in a professional manner."

He's been with this woman for 16 years (ok, "on again/off again" , but still....), they've had 2 children together and this is the START of a great relationship? Former Poison front man Bret Michaels stopped in with Joy Behar on CNN to discuss his possible future with American Idol. He said he would love to have the position on the show, but he wouldn't consider himself a replacement for former judge Simon Cowell.
"Simon Cowell is an original, brutally honest, but an original. He made that show great," Michaels told Behar. "I do not think that show will survive if they try to replace him with someone that's a knock-off."
Having almost branded his own personality on reality television, Michaels is certainly not a knock-off. We'll see if the Idol producers agree in the coming weeks. If this fella was such a renowned and talented musician, why would he be looking at something like this to revive his failed career and 15 minutes of fame...errr okay, 20 minutes of fame? let's see now...would Elvis have done this? Would John Lennon have done this?, Would Springsteen lower himself to this level if he hung up his career? Not that I compare him to the above mentioned greats, but this guy has, and is, capitalizing on his personal and health misfortunes as of late to the point where we now appear to be accepting him as a "Reality TV" icon? WOW...what an accomlishment for someone that supposedly had talent?  ? Get in line buddy...there's a plethora of out-of-work housewives that are being considered for their own 13 episode Reality Show because their gay husband left them to tend with their 10 children and trying to do it all on their own while living on welfare!!! When you start seeing folks like this as the headliner for those wonderful "fluff" "Snewsfest" shows like "Entertainment Tonight", you bloody well know the party is over for them. So let me get this right...you started out playing in a band...had a few hits, went solo, flopped, had some medical issues, been on a reality tv show, and now you want us to take you serious? Okay, GREAT!!!...so now yer a singer, actor and a celebrity all wrapped up in one neat little package?!!! Aha!...But can you Dance!!!! ....  Maybe Clint Eastwood and his Malpaso Co. will sign you up so that you can do a retrospective of your career? Sounds to me that the general public is just chomping at the bit for something like that to hit the big screen. There...maybe not a "douchebag"...more like a "has been". Thanks Kim |

People give you KARMA + points because they like what you posted, it's a "thumbs up" basically, if you have a minus karma, that means your karma is bad and you'll die soon from a freakish thing like in the Omen movies. Then if I go into the negative, I won't be getting on any elevators. I prefer my bottom half to be attached to my top half. |

Then again does anybody really care about Bret Michaels anymore? To be fair though he is not the only one who has ruined any reputation he may have had. The real person to blame for all this 'rock Stars & Their Reality Shows' shit is Sharon Osbourne. She turned her husband into a laughing stock by sticking her nauseating family on TV, to-wit every other has-been followed suit. Along with Bret Michaels there is Gene 'I'll Do Anything For A Dollar' Simmons, Vince Neil with his celebrity rehab crap (should've employed a voice teacher instead) & now Dee Snider's doing his own reality show. What next? Lemmy on 'America's Next Top Model'? David Lee Roth on 'Dancing With The Stars'? Ted Nugent cooking a Buffalo Burger on 'Hell's Kitchen' while being yelled at by Gordon Ramsey? Of course if people had lives, they wouldn't watch this shit! |
