I've thought long and hard on this offering of choices.
I'm going with Black Sabbath's "Heaven & Hell". Two reason tilt me in it's favor. One, is there is absolutely zero "novelty" or fluff tracks whereas Blizzard of Oz has the exhibition-esque "Dee" and "No Bone Movies". Don't get me wrong. I love those, but when compared to Heaven & Hell, they weaken the standing. The other reason is that, by the time I was 17 I had been a major-general Rainbow fan for years. I had admired Ronnie James Dio's singing for a good, long stretch prior to him getting onboard with Black Sabbath. My overwhelming delight at the prospect of him fronting Black Sabbath was only surpassed by the mighty content of the entire album. When I first heard that album, I was completely stunned at the amazing quality. Indeed, I was completely "Blown-Away". That characterizes the sentiment nicely.

HA! No tattoos yet! Thanks for sharing, Spacel0rd. Interesting indeed. My first time was at the 1983 US Festival in Glenn Helen Park, CA. They weren't on the bill. The Motels cancelled and Motely Crue were the "local-band-fill-in". They had those same outfits but their hair was a bit higher. From were I was standing they appeared as Luxemburg Palace Guards with those ox-hair hats all of 'em black except the singer with white hair. I remember them jumping around energetically with big, tall red candle operas as stage props. I was amused and was anticipating an amazing lead, guitar break. Mick got his Que and squawked and squealed an incoherent cacophony of twangs. He was no Eddie Van Halen, but their outfits were snappy and the rhythm section was tight as a tick.

I love a lot of their music. "Godzilla" is an all-time fav here, especially the live version off "Some Enchanted Evening". Freakin' over the top with sensational Godzilla guitar sounds and Japanese language coming through a mega-phone for a nice musical garnish. LOVE-LOVE-LOVE IT!

The new album arrives Tuesday 4-14-2015. I can't wait! Well? Is it all countrified and shitty, or all loud, bombastic and kick-ass?

Got sad when I read the news.
I heard he wasn't wearing his seat belt and died in a car crash.

The need for first aid doesn't ring well with me. Bad omen or what?!? Rikki saying David looks like Dr. Smith from Lost in Space keeps echoing in the back of my mind. Well, at least Eddie looks and sounds good.

Veddy interesting. I don't listen to country at all, so I've limited frame of reference with those matters.
