Dumb-shits swerve wildly and without direction time and time again. I don't consider the institution relevant to much of the music in my world.

Just put me down for all the new sh*t posted on Franks' blog. RIP-O-RAMA, ONE-AND-ALL! Especially KXM, and Pretty Reckless.

I've been on a Black Sabbath pre-history kick on youtube. Has anyone else heard their whacked-out 60's fusion-beat tunes with a Jazz trumpeter? Very strange stuff, but there's a lot of the cornerstone guitar riffs and phrasing to their most famous songs in there. Fun!

Yeah, she was great one. She'd call out the never ending parade of bs from folks that were full of them selves and give them both barrels. I always would try to watch whatever show she'd appear on so I could catch her spiel before it ended up in the paper or nightly news.

These brands are using rock'n roll from Kid Rock, Ac/Dc and the Scorpions in their national broadcast advertising and it pisses me off. Ugh I love the Scorps and Ac/Dc especially and it makes me ill they sold out to corporate America. Yuck!

This thread brings to mind the stark difference of B.O.C.'s two versions of "Godzilla". I truly cannot enjoy the studio version at all. Check it out for yourself! vimeo.com/100670266 <---Dynamic and Great youtu.be/1dF_5PMTods <---Falls Flat

Man, I'm very bummed about this news. I'm a fan from the beginning. Back in high school, my buds and I were all into the 'shaz-bot nano-nano" phrases and the orb, and all his fun-mania in a big way. When Bon Scott uttered "Shaz-bot, Nano-Nano" at the end of Night Prowler, we went bonkers over it! Then, as his career started to get into better and better movies I was more than delighted. Admittedly I did get kind of worried when I went to see Pop-Eye though. That's one of two movies that I actually left the theater after about 20 minutes. That wreck is unwatchable! He got that one quickly behind him thankfully. RIP Robin Williams indeed. Clinical Depression sucks the life out of you. So, so sad.

Accept is like GMC in the way they're "Professional Grade". It's what you get when you get 50+ year olds that know how to play very well and then they proceed to put together, rock'n roll with plenty of hooks, riffs and with contemporary style.
