1 Kix - Rock Your Face Off - The first new album by Kix in 19 years didn't disappoint me in any way. As good as their debut album.
2 AC/DC - Rock Or Bust - This one could have made number one had it come out early in the year. Every bit as good as Back In Black.
3 Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators - World On Fire- Albums that are normally 17 songs are filled with throw away boring songs. Not this one...kick ass Rock n Roll all the way through.
4 American Dog - Neanderthal - The best band in america that nobody's heard of comes out with yet another solid kick ass album.
5 Night Ranger - High Road - Great album by the Night Ranger crew
6 Tesla - Simplicity - Anybody that say's Jeff Kieth's voice is shot is full of shit.
7 The Pretty Reckless -Going To Hell- I don't care for most new bands but this band I love. Great vocals, great song writing.
8 California Breed - California Breed - Great old school Deep Purple/ Led Zeppelin music. Lead by the fantastic Glenn Hughes.
9 Accept - Blind Rage - These German metal heads knocked Judas Priest out of my Top 10.
10 The Last Vegas - Sweet Salvation- Great old school sleazy Rock n Roll

Well...let me be the buzz-kill here. The songs bore me to death. I skipped every song about half way through. It’s almost like I knew how each song was going to sound by just reading the song title. There’s being predictable…and there’s being TOO predictable. I think if you’re going to compare it to Black in Black, that just may be the “excitement of having a new AC/DC album” talking. Wait a year or two and THEN tell me it’s as good or better than Back in Black. It's cool that they are still kickin' and making a lot of their fans happy. But if they asked me the question of "Rock or Bust?" sadly I'd say...Bust. It's cool you think that way. Rock for me though. Great album.

Awesome Frank...all great tunes but what's wild is that you have the Jack which has always been my favorite AC/DC tune(I love both the live and studio versions...), Baby Loves to Rock which is definitely in my top 10 Cheap Trick tunes, and Wanna Rock which is actually my 2nd favorite tune off of Nature of the Beast (My favorite is Crash & Burn). I just found it wild because those 3 songs I play on a regular basis That was off the top of my head. Do you want a second hour?

I've always got into moods where I rediscover bands, do you ever do this? Lately it's been Queen. I just bought their newly released (finally) Live At The Rainbow'74. So now I'm listening to the first 8 studio albums plus Live Killers their fantastic live album from 1978. I love rediscovering bands because I always hear things I never heard before. That's the musician in me coming out. It keeps the music fresh even after all these years. These are the Queen albums I'm vegging out on..... Queen Queen II Sheer Heart Attack A Night At The Opera A Day At The Races News Of The World Jazz Live Killers The Game Plus...Live At The Rainbow '74 Any one else do this? And if so who's your latest band? I do it all the time... been doing it for the last 40 years... I see no problem with it. It works for me, and by the sounds of things, works as well for you. That's what MUSIC is all about. Thanks Kim So true Kim so true. Right now I'm on a major Deep Purple kick. Cheers!! I'm enjoying their Perfect Strangers DVD on a very high volume right now. Excellent sound excellent picture for 1985.
