As we know Malcolm Young passed away.....but when his older brother George passed away a couple weeks before I called it.I knew he didn't have much time left. Dementia is just not something you can come back from and you generally don't live long with it.
Many of the rockers that have died recently like Chris Cornell were just so unexpected. So its hard to call.
I hate so say this because I am a huge fan but I do not see Jon Oliva living to be very old. Not with his health. Also I don't think Lesley West will be around much longer.
Dokken-Back For The Attack....some of Lynch's best work and I love the sound of this record. 'Kiss Of Death', 'Mr. Scary', "Heaven Sent', "Night By Night" and "Lost Behind The Wall" are up there with their best.
A coworker told me about this documentary the other day. I was a fan of the first album and saw this band live back in 1990 touring for the 'Psycho Cafe' album. I thought this band went against the norm....and like the documentary states....they should have been bigger.
Yeah....sorry I have not been active much in the last year or so. Just been busy with work and band. I still post on one other forum called Dinsosaurrockguitar.com. It was through that forum I believe that I discovered this one.....either that or Peacedogman.com....which is now a dead site. I will still check in here to see what's going on...
Wow....pretty misleading as far as the billing goes. Rondinelli I consider an ex Rainbow drummer.....but it's a stretch to put Black Sabbath on the resume. And the other guy played harp with Cactus....ok. I know of Mike DiMeo from the period of Riot in the 90's and 2000's when none listened to them. It's pretty bad when Rondinelli is the most interesting guy in the band....
Looking forward to the new Iron Maiden album. A double album at that. The new single "Speed Of Light" is good, but I think the album will be epic. I hope they do a proper tour in the U.S. in 2016. I have seen them 5 times since 2010 and they never disappoint.
Sounds like a great show full of monster guitar players. I saw both Gillis and Hoekstra play at the Randy Rhoads tribute show during NAMM 2014. They were both great. I am sure Beach was amazing as well. I am really curious about Skid Row with Harnell. Love TNT and Harnell is a great singer.
I listened to about half of it on Spotify. It's good. Some of the stuff I think he goes over the top and the intro to "Polar Nights" is not near as good as what he did on 'Tokyo Tapes'....but still what I heard was very good and I am interested in picking up a copy.
