I realize this may not be the place to post this thread, but in case any of the other members here have noticed the same thing as I have this afternoon, figured I'd mention it. Is it just me or when you post a reply and use the "Spell Check" feature, your browser comes up with the old "allow pop up" feature? When you go up top and either "temporarily allow pop ups" or "always allow pop ups from this site", your message now disappears?...Cewl! I just lost 2 posts due to this newly added feature. Fortunately, for the rest here, I won't be going back and hammering them out again...hahaha. Just a word of caution, maybe it's a browser update thing or something?...who knows? Anyway, let the spellun mistakes and gramma stuff abound... Strut yer stuff on the keyboard and hit the friggn' enter key, knowbudy gives a whoot aboot spellin, and stuf... have at er!...Jest be shure to post awl yer thawts on wut gits yooz goin regarden miuzic maahn! I aint evr goona tuch that fukin buton no mor! ;D ime stil goona try and put sum of the "oh's" inta my werds cuz y'm a chanuck and wile the qween is alive, i'll pussyinue to mak hir happy! *modified to note that I used the "c" word for "continue" and it replaced it with "pussy"...ahahahahahahahahahaha... "pussyinue"... haha Thanx kYmm

No contest for me.
AC/DC.
When Aerosmith gets around to picking up their collective "Toys in The Attic" and start playing with them once again, I may reconsider...hahahaha.

Guess I stopped at Charles wwwwwwwwoooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww Sorry Was that right before he died or for a film role? Hey Blackers, no need for apologies...just sad to see what old age has in store for us huh? Even sadder when we see the effects of diseases such as alzheimers on our hereos...and I'll be the first of many to admit, Charles Bronson was and still is a hero to me. It was about 6 months ago or so that I even went so far as to order "Hard Times" from Amazon, as it was one of my favourite Bronson flics. Great little movie...check it out if you get the chance. Yer right though...maybe that pic could be considered for a role...the toughest one he's ever had to play.................... Thanks Kim

That would be Charles "Manson" that you're referring to Blackers. The above image is Bronson and is one of the last public pics of the man before his death in 2003. Further info can be found here, along with the above image. charlesbronson.info/theend.htmlThanks Kim There is a Charles Bronson in England that is bald and about 57 years old. When was this picture of Charles Bronson taken? He died in 2003.

I was wondering if any of the folks ou there were affected by the Ticket Master situation as of late?
For example, I looked up getting some Springsteen tickies a week ago and it appears that someone is trying to rip us off. Bruce himself, has slammed the corporation for the wrong doing in the way in which they are/were selling tickets to his gigs here in Canuckville.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Kim

Iunderstand where you are coming from....which is not where I come from...at least in politics. Freedom has to be fought for. Sad but true. You think the GOVERNMENT can make everything OK?? Maybe you LIKE your Free Medical Care. Let's see if you like it when you are 65 and they decide you are not WORTH the surgery YOU need. I pretty much agree with all that RUSH said. Nahh...I'm not that jaded or delusional to think that any Government can make everything okay...same as I don't think private enterprise can either...if so, why is it that private enterprise is suddenly standing at the taxpayers doorstep with hat in hand...looking for a bail out package? You are correct in saying that I do like our free medical care however. Is it a perfect system? No, of course not. Once again, no delusions here, however, when I do turn 65, and I need hip surgery or the like, it'll be of some comfort knowing that I'll get it and not be turned away because I don't have the out of pocket $75.000.00 to pay for it. Worked out good for my 70 year old father-in-law. By the way, the $75.000.00 is a guesstimate on my part and I'm wondering what an elite private sector agency would charge for a procedure of this nature had we no other choice but to pay for it ourselves? It's also nice to see as well that someone like my wifes 93 year old grandmother still gets to make the decision on whether or not to have free cataract surgery as she wasn't denied because of her age and actually elected to go without as she is still doing fine, living on her own...even without it. Yes, our so called system can do with some tweaking, modifications and rethinking in some areas, but the basis of the premise of free health care seems to work, at least in our country. That, in itself may have to be looked into as the majority of our population moves into an older category overall...but I'll be damned if I'd ever vote for someone that wants to take that away from me. Good luck with RUSH though, I trust he has his own ideas on that and many other issues that will no doubt at least give people the choice as to how they best see fit as to how your great nation needs to take care of itself. I don't mean that in a sarcastic manner either...who knows?...perhaps the man has some credible solutions to the problems that are currently plaguing the nation? Sure would be nice though to at least allow your new guy given a fighting chance to make a difference for the great folks in the USA. It's the least the Reps can do as the other fella was given 8 years to do his thing. In regards to fighting for freedom, Canada just lost another 3 soldiers the other day fighting the never ending war on terror in Afghanistan. Sad but true...and although that may not seem like much, keep in mind, we are a relatively small nation, population wise and I trust our casualties are in keeping with the toll expected to be taken on our otherwise minuscule, but obliging military force currently fulfilling the peace keeping and nation rebuilding duties expected of us. We also just forked over 35 million dollars in funds to help prop up the fledgling government currently in charge. Again...probably chump change at this point...but I'm sure we have more where that came from and will gladly contribute when once again asked to do so. As you say Speedy, you and I differ in our political opinions regarding a plethora of issues I'm sure, I just wouldn't want to see a Rush Limbaugh kinda guy taking a shot at jeopardizing my way of life and the ideals that I hold dear to my heart in this country that I call home. Thanks Kim

When a foreigner(no disrespect Kim) thyinks our new President is GREAT when he hasn't done anything yet REALLY makes me worry. On toop of that I really could give a crap what Foreigners think about our President.....especially Mick Jones and Lou Gramm Obama is going to screw us all. Unless of course you are one who likes handouts. Myself I like to pay MY way and let others pay theirs. I truly am praying that we can get through these HORRIBLE policies he's implementing. Mick, Lou and I completely understand Speedy... ;D Actually, you sound a lot like I did back in 2000 when that other fella took office... "Bush is gonna screw us all"!!!... and he did!!!haha. ;D You are correct in that the new guy hasn't done anything "YET"...it's been what?...6 or 7 weeks? I'd say give him about 6 months out his 4 year term, then let the naysayers and "half empty glass" holders start beating up on him and his administration. Turf his useless butt outta there!!!...and Biden...phhphhh...Oh Yeah!!! and take that Clinton chick with him too!!! Who needs em? Terrible people...WHO IN THE HELL VOTED FOR THESE PEOPLE IN THE FIRST PLACE??? I could see if it was close like it was in 2000...and Mr. Bush was at least dignified in knowing that he won fair and square...but this time round...it was like the people were delusional or something?...there was actually a gap. I'm a little concerned that the water supply may have been tampered with? Anyway, I jest. Worst case scenario is that Obama "fails"...and if he does "FAIL"... it sounds to me like Mr. Limbaugh would be ready to ride in and save the day!...Make everything right and turn the hands of time back to December of 2008 when all was good with the world and George was still calling the shots. Maybe then, we can look forward to going to war with another nation or two...I'm sure our collective grandchildren will look forward to that as they go to school and decide their future in this ever so "forward thinking" democratic planet that we live on. Thanks Kim

Sounds to me that the "cancer" actually got to him and in my opinion, killed him.
Hate to say it but I was expecting a whole new wave of GNR fans to be coming back from the dead along with a legion of new fans that we had never witnessed before when this Chinese stuff came out...AND!...I was expecting the music world to be once again turned on its heels because of the greatness from the man that gave us sooooooo much back in the late 90's when music decided it needed to void it's bowels of the crap coming down the pipes.
Well?...never happened did it? Springsteen still kicks his ass!!!!!!
What's next?...another 12 years or so until the next release or will the Axemeister just start spewing out drivel twice a year for the next five years just to make up for lost time?...ahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Well, all I can say is "good on ya" Axey boy! Consider the latest release of yours, the last hurrah.
You had yer chance and you wasted many, many years waiting to come out with what you thought would be the ultimate release and set the music world back on course. FYI Axe...the world moved on and for the most part really didn't think you were that great to begin with. Bottom line...you had yer 15 minutes...hope you enjoyed it.
Let me know when you have to lower yourself down to play smaller Canadian venues such as my burg...I'll be more than happy to turn down the chance at buying tickets to see the show.
Aside from everything mentioned above...I mean no harm towards those great folks here that are fans of the music...and in fact I respect the love and concern that you may all have for the music. I fully understand that this "was" a group to be considered at one point in our illustrious history of rock and roll music...but personally, I just could not buy into the whole GNR thing...probablly just me, but in my opinion, when they hit the stage, music overall took a "wrong turn at Albeqeouqie" at that point.
Just my 2 misearable cents.
Thanks Kim

I'm a sucker for technology, so these days it's usually with the IPod and the headphones on so it's a pretty healthy mix.
In the old days, I never had much to do with changing the music as my hands were usually handcuffed to the headboard but it was pretty much all good until the cassette deck started to eat the tape, then all hell broke loose.
Tried "elevator music" once but the damn doors kept opening and closing on us.
Thanks Kim

If you want advice on Quo, Jesse, there are six albums you need to try & get: 'Piledriver', 'Hello', 'Quo', 'Blue For You', 'On The Level' & 'Live!'. Quo are a bit hit & miss with some of their studio work, & when they employed Pip Williams as producer he eradicated some of the raw energy the previous albums possessed. 1980's 'Just Supposin' is another album which gets kudos too, but mainly it is the albums I have mentioned. Oh & their version of 'Roadhouse Blues' just kills the Door's original. The 'Live!' album, recorded at Glasgow Apoolo in 1976 is as dirty & raw as they come & still finds it way onto my turntable. Uh oh...I feel a long post comin' on... ;D Thanks Kim
