Both, just depends on musical taste. U2 and Madonna was huge, Tesla, Bon Jovi and hair metal.

they need to write some better songs.. I agree... I wanted to like the 1st CD more, but most of the songs just go by without grabbing my attention, mostly because they are so much alike they fade from memory because of the lack of hooks catchy choruses. Even the live dvd was the same for me.

"Chapel Of Blood", the new video from MURDERDOLLS, can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "Women And Children Last", which sold 8,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 43 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on August 31 via Roadrunner Records, the CD was recorded at a studio in Hollywood Hills, California with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD).

I've been saying this and going on about it for the last number of years? Shit, I even took some crap about doing the "downloading" thing, but at least I was up front about it back then... ...Simply because it was prevalent back then to us poor fucking Canucks and I wasn't one to lay down and tolerate it. We were getting starved here for music! Remember me going on and fucking on about the Status Quo release..."Heavy Traffic"? The bastard was released in Sept. of 2002 when I ordered the prick!... 12 fucking weeks later, the stupid fucking record store... "ohhh sorry, the 25 year old fluffy haired manager chick at the CD Hip Hop Store" said that there was a delay!!!! ?....DOH FUCK!!! I finally ordered the sonofabitch from Amazon for $18.00 4 months later. Thankfully a friend of mine had downloaded a copy for me so I could at least enjoy the gawddamed music! 2 weeks later...the pregnant, fluffy haired 25yr old hip hop chick said that the album was in...I told her it was too late. That was the last time. Now, every time I walk by the same store in the mall, I wave at them and give em the "double guns"! My wife thinks I'm crazy when I do that...and I tell her that "I AM"!!!... The 14 year old kid that runs the till doesn't have a clue and is probably the child of the 25 year old that got fucked in the back room 7 years previous... ?...I don't know...you do the math!! Bottom line...I can't recall the last album that I purchased from any store in town. They can suck me dry! Amazon or CD Baby now has my business. Better Prices. Better Service...(No young fucker with a cow ring in their tongue). Plus...I don't need to be interrupted here whist ordering an album when I'm busy talking to you good folks!!! Win/Win situation I tell ya!!! All I can say Rik is that I don't blame you my brother! You said it right!... Now maybe that we're dealing with Amazon...they can respect our presence here and cater to, or at least contribute to our great site moreso than the big record execs ever did? hahaha. I can see it now...Amazon.com/rnruniverse.com Thanks Kim ...and now stay tuned for sports folks!

AEROSMITH guitarist Brad Whitford told The Boston Globe that singer Steven Tyler's new gig as one of the judges on the next season of "American Idol" won't interfere with the band's plans to make a new album. "We might actually get more work done because we haven't always been so disciplined when it comes to schedules," Whitford said. "When Steven's filming, it'll only be two days a week, so it's our intention to do some new recording on his days off." When asked if Tyler's "on board with that plan," Whitford said, "Yeah, he's excited."
AEROSMITH bassist Tom Hamilton recently told the Boston Herald that Tyler believes he has the time and energy to continue fronting the band while also being a judge on the new season of "American Idol". Hamilton explained, "Steven's been very emphatic in saying that the way his time is arranged on the show leaves room to work on a record. He's been taking great pains to remind everybody of that, so hopefully that's the way it will come out."
Yet Hamilton also admitted that things could change, saying, "There's a lot of not knowing what's going to happen, but that's how it's always been for us . . . Steven is an incredible I-can-do-anything kind of guy. But he's taken a big bite, and I'm looking forward to seeing him chew it."
AEROSMITH completed a North American tour last month in Canada and the rest of the band members are now back home, waiting for their vocalist to carve out time to return to the studio and make the group's first album since 2001.
Hamilton says he's never watched "American Idol" and that the band found out about Tyler's involvement from its management. Guitarist Joe Perry voiced his displeasure in public, calling the program "one step above ('Teenage Mutant') 'Ninja Turtles'."
Tyler and the rest of AEROSMITH butted heads last year, after his fall from a stage on South Dakota led to a canceled tour, a trip for Tyler to rehab and threats by the singer to embark on a solo career. Things were smoothed over for this past summer's trek, but tensions have been raised again by Tyler's "Idol" involvement.

It's like Blockbuster video, they drive out all the local video stores, then up their rental price to 4 bucks a movie rental, then file for bankruptcy, close their stores and we have no more places to rent videos at in town...nice.

When i can't find what i want, i go to fye at the mall. They normally have all the hard to find CDs. But, of course, it's only a matter of time til fye is no longer. Did that...no Alice DVD. Best buy doesn't even have a Alice Cooper section anymore.

I used to like to shop at Best Buy, Walmart, Barnes and Nobels, Schuller's Books and Fye for the weekly new releases on DVD and CD. All of these stores have shrunk their record departments into next to nothing. I have been looking for 2 weeks for the new Alice Cooper live Hammersmith DVD/CD combo set and I still can't find it. I'm done wasting my gas and time going to these lame ass stores trying to give them my business when they can't even order the new Alice Cooper. Gee...It's October, Alice is on our local radio station every night with his radio show here in Lansing Michigan but yet he is not popular enough to order at least one copy for one of these stores? They did the same bullshit with the last 2 Cheap Trick releases. Well needless to say I'm done wasting my time and gas doing this weekly new release egg hunt. I'll just order it on-line and skip the damn local stores...fuck'em, let them die with all the rest of the record stores. Thats what they want anyway...money for no-product, just a download. That way they can rip you off out of the real thing...no booklet, case or cd...it all is for you to supply after you pay for the download, yes, the paper, cd and case is up to you now....this is bullshit! If I'm going that far I will just go with the free download like most other people. I want product I can hold in my hands when I pay money, if not steal the shit! Let the band not make a dime from their non-existing product. The newest KILLINGBIRD 'Scar' doesn't even have a CD version available, only download....once again...F*CK THAT!!! This is why most people are stealing free downloads....if you can only have the music...STEAL IT!!! We are being cheated everyday by music artist and their record labels....They make a CD to last a lifetime, but yet give you a shitty cardboard case to hold it? Some scratching the CD everytime it slides in and out of the case if it doesn't have the plastic tray. That's because they assume you will be just sliding the CD into your CD wallet and chucking the case. NOT! I will only be ordering off Amazon now instead of making my weekly rounds to the record stores which I have done since 1964. I was going to get a real pumpkin this year for my front porch, but I decided just to take a picture of somebody else's pumpkin to hang on my front porch instead.

While cancer-stricken Michael Douglas continues treatment in New York, others across the globe, including pal Danny DeVito, are recognizing the actor's work. DeVito accepted the Golden Icon Award at the Zurich Film Festival Sunday, on Douglas' behalf. The two have starred in several films together, including "Solitary Man," "Romancing the Stone" and "The War of the Roses." Douglas, who revealed in August he had been diagnosed with throat cancer, could not attend the German festival's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" screening. He appeared tired and gaunt on the streets of Manhattan Monday, with his usual salt-and-pepper hair looking extremely gray. According to the Daily Mail, DeVito praised Douglas at the festival, saying, "Michael is so strong. He gets better and better with every movie he makes. So that's why I tell him to work more." Douglas' wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, traveled to Wales last week for a golf tournament, and told a crowd of 13,000 people how much her husband wished to be there. But, she said, doctors "couldn't be happier with his progress," adding that the 66-year-old Douglas is "holding up with great strength and dignity." Zeta-Jones also said she expects her husband to finish his cancer treatment soon.
