Hey Doc, I have A Merry Jingle, guess what the b-side was called? A Merry Jangle!!! LOL! I saw Lizzy at Christmas when that was out at Stafford Bingley Hall & Moore had left during the Black Rose tour & Dave Flett had stepped in. Lynott & Lizzy decided to add some keyboards at the show & Midge Ure was jamming the keys & at times also playing extra guitar ... They played A Merry Jingle at the show ... Fun stuff. Al

Yeah, I'm really bumming right now .... The job situation, although I just got a month's repreive - They want me to stay on an extra month .... - after that, it's not that promising .... The old finances the way they are for us right now & the missus just had to have a tooth extracted today, after we learned our dental coverage was maxed out, cost us $320 today .... I would love all 3 of these, really would & when I was in Sam's Club tonight, picking up a few things, I saw the Kiss & Foreigner sets .... & they looked mighty tempting ... One thing though, the Foreigner pack only looked half or less than half the thickness of the Kiss package .... Is there really 3 discs in there??? I began to wonder if the 2nd disc is a Dual Disc, music one side, DVD the other .... Is it? Didn't see the Journey, but wasn't looking as I thought it wasn't out until next week? Ah well .... Life's a serious bitch right now ... In the past, I wouldn't have hesitated, but we've cut back so much lately, it's getting bloody miserable ...! Something's got to give in the US, hopefully especially in Michigan but the automakers are so bloody greedy, it's killing anyone that works that industry that is just trying to survive .... Damn! Why didn't I write a couple of hit singles a few years back ...! LOL! Anyway, here's hoping it doesn't take too damn long, then I can go & grab all 3!! Cheers, Al

Plus loads of other tour merch stuff from previous tours etc. & wait for in the Press releases own words .... The 12"x12"x4" (30cm*30cm*10cm) exterior box is designed to resemble a vintage AC/DC guitar amp – complete with the original logo that was spray-painted onto the rear of Angus and Malcolm’s speaker cabinets in 1975. The “head” of the amp has a handle that lifts the top off to reveal the contents housed within. Oh yeah, the head is also a WORKING GUITAR AMPLIFIER! That’s right, one watt of pure AC/DC makes this box a truly unique collector’s item. You can PLAY the box set while LISTENING TO the box set! Check out the videos of Angus using the amp. Slade's Noddy Holder & Jim Lea, with their production of Play Dirty, totally ripped off Leppard's Pyromania (Mutt Lange) sound ... Some have said though that in fact the production sound on Play Dirty, was actually developing before Leppard's ..., but since Leppard got their album out first, that was when the claims that the girls had ripped them off came about ... Who bloody knows in this business?!

I'm Al & as most of the folks here know, I can go on a bit ..., right gang?! LOL! I grew up in the 70's - In the UK - listening to ELO, Status Quo, UFO, Slade, Sweet, The Faces, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Rainbow & many more ... In the late 70's though, discovered more American / Canadian bands that filtered into 80's stuff, Boston, Triumph, Toto, Rush, Journey, Honeymoon Suite, Y & T, Pat Travers, Styx, April Wine, Night Ranger, Shooting Star, 38 Special & loads more .... After the 80's & coming right up to date, newer bands I like are Goo Goo Dolls, Tonic, 3 Doors Down, Silvertide, Collective Soul, House Of Lords, Nickelback, Joe Bonamassa, Angels & Airwaves & other suff here & there too ... I've played drums for years & yodel, nah, I mean sing really from time to time, in a covers band ... I also, from time to time have reviewed gigs, CD's, DVD's, done interviews with folks & stuff for various sites, but still come back here - When time allows! - to hang with these fine folks here! 10 - as always - is too few guys .... These are 10 fav's that I never, ever get tired of throwing in the old CD player ... &, "cruisin' down the motorway, got my girl by my side ....!" Yeah & the missus rocks too, she jams some serious Jon Lord type keyboards in the band, she totally rocks! Seriously lucky to have a wife that loves to rock 'n' roll as much as me .... Hell! I should've moved here 20 years ago! LOL! UFO - Strangers ... Thin Lizzy - Live & Dangerous MSG - Budokan (Only because it captures great moments of the first 2 albums.) Rainbow - Long Live Rock n Roll Van Halen - Same Damn Yankees - Same Def Leppard - High 'n' Dry Honeymoon Suite - The Big Prize Night Ranger - Rock In Japan Live Quo - Rockin' All Over The Years Al

LOL Trexx! Def Leppard are kind of like Whitesnake, blow hot & cold & yes, Elliott is facing - IMO - the same problems as Cov ... Although Whitesnake recently announced that Cov's treatment has done the trick & that he'll be back before we know it! We'll see about that! If he's seriously done nothing or not enough & he comes back & his voice gets shot again, he's going to look a complete idiot! That said, Elliott is so in love with himself, he almost out does Bono for being the most pretentious prick out there! If Bono wasn't the idiot he's shown he can be ... - kind of like the Oasis idiots! - I might actually give U2 some time of day, but the dude's actions sometimes piss me off something wicked ... Seriously though Trexx, I've seen Leppard play awesome & Elliott sing well, but over the past few years, it's more inconsistent ... Al

Perry upset over Aerosmith tour Source: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/8263424.stmAerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has spoken of his frustration at the cancellation of the band's tour after Steven Tyler fell off stage last month.
Last month, the group announced they were sidelining the rest of their North American tour, due to finish on 16 September, because of Tyler's injuries.
The singer, 61, broke his left shoulder in Sturgis, South Dakota, on 5 August.
Perry said he had not spoken to Tyler for five weeks. "I don't know what's going on with him," he said.
The Sturgis concert where Tyler sustained his injury had already been delayed by heavy thunderstorms.
The rest of the tour was cancelled after doctors told him he needed time to recuperate from his fall.
I hear he's getting better but I don't really know what's going on with him
Joe Perry on Steven Tyler Perry told the Associated Press news agency he was upset by the cancellation because "the tour was building up to a great tour".
He added: "Right before that, he had pulled a muscle in his leg.
"And we had to take two weeks off and we missed probably seven dates."
He said: "I hear he's getting better but I don't really know what's going on with him."
But, despite hinting at differences within Aerosmith, Perry said he was there was "still life left in the old band".
"All I know is he [Tyler] has got to get his act together.
"I mean he and I haven't written a song together alone in the same room in over 10 years so there's been some changes in paradigm of what Aerosmith is."
A representative of the band was not available for comment.
Speaking after the accident, the singer said he was doing "the Tyler shuffle" when he slipped and fell.
"I'm plain grateful that I didn't break my neck," he added.

Ozzy Osbourne to receive legend awardSource: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/8262784.stmBlack Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne will be honoured with the Legend of Live award at this year's Billboard Touring Awards in the US.
The rocker, who has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, is being recognised for his "significant and lasting contributions to live music".
Reality TV star Osbourne will collect the award in New York on 5 November.
Previous award recipients include Sir Elton John, pioneering agent Frank Barsalona and the Allman Brothers Band.
"Ozzy has altered the course of rock music and live performance through his work with Black Sabbath and as a hugely popular solo artist," said Billboard's Ray Waddell.
"There is no doubt Ozzy's impact on live music, including pioneering the multi-act rock festival touring with Ozzfest, will be felt for many years to come, and his efforts continue to shape the touring landscape in this century," he added.
The Billboard Touring Awards honour the industry's top artists for the year, based on the Billboard Boxscore chart and on actual box office performance.
Last year, Osbourne was awarded the living legend award in Classic Rock's Roll of Honour.

Good review Bucky .... I was just about to do one myself, once I'd listened to it a few more times .... Thing is right now I'm in the middle of listening to the new House Of Lords, Lynch Mob & new songs to learn for our first show in months, tomorrow night .... Good job anyway & yeah, I agree, it's certainly not "the norm ..." Without doubt harder edged stuff in general, to get things rolling which is no bad thing ... Fox On The Run, perhaps the commercial shot , surprised that was put out before Outer Space to be honest, but there you go ... Cheers, Al
