Glenn Hughes is one rock star who never got the memo that he’s 63…in a good way. He’s always forming new bands with dudes half his age.

And as a bonus...I LOVE Thick as a Brick 2, even though it is credited to "Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson"

I liked their first album back in 1999. They kinda lost me on the 2nd album. I’m not really feeling what I hear on this new one. But Hey Mama is ok and sounds like a lost Black Crowes song.

Well, I know more about Deep Purple now than I did…say…8 years ago. Back then, I knew the radio staples. But over the last few years I dug into their catalog a lot more.
1. Knocking on Your Back Door 2. Mary Long 3. Perfect Strangers 4. Child in Time 5. Burn 6. All the Time in the World 7. Highway Star 8. Mistreated 9. Sail Away 10. Stormbringer
Other goodies: The Battle Rages On, Fireball, Call of the Wild, I Need Love, Pictures of Home, Vincent Price, I Got Your Number, Woman From Tokyo, Comin’ Home, King of Dreams, The Gypsy
I don’t need to hear Smoke on the Water any longer. I’ve heard it about 7,123 times more than I need to.

I know Cheap Trick have their loyal followers, but I never really got into them. I have a few CDs, and i never EVER play them. But I'm glad to see they are still out there touring and stuff for the fans.
I can't even come up with 10 songs. I used to love Surrender, but now-a-days I'm kinda tired of it.

6-Greek And Roman Gods. They were made up. Why not a three week lesson on my imaginary friend Porfie Altermorano? Ok...here comes my big can of worms I'm about to open: I feel the same way about the religion class I had to take in the Catholic school I went to.

Yea. I like the 70's funk/Motown/James Brown vibe Bruno Mars gives off. It sounded good.

After hearing about this band, I Youtubed them just to see how sucky they'd be. I assumed with a name like Monster Truck, they gotta blow. But to my surprise they are a kick ass "harder Skynyrd," blues based rock band

I just picked this up. The album, as a whole, is like Robin Trower meets Sabbath meets the Allmans.

I’ve turned my hat around numerous of times and just discovered of late that it’s a “douche look”. Sometimes I like having the brim away from my face. Now, those flat-brimmed hats (flat bills)? You cannot be over THIRTY and wear those. Other things I’ve done over 40: Crowd surfed Shotguned a can of beer Played beer pong Bought superhero action figures Never bought a suit Dressed up for Halloween Drank out of my Avengers/Star Trek/Star Wars cups and glasses Has a Star Wars poster up in my house Oh…and I bought this at Target to put up on my wall over my Joust arcade machine. (Iron Man "coming through" the wall) I'm a rule breaker...ha. I joined a soft ball team at 37, and it was a HUGE mistake. I got talked into it, though.

I got a Galaga and Joust t-shirt. And a Mr. Do! clock. So, this year it was an "80's Arcade Christmas."

I'm gonna make a list. But I've seen a lot of lists this year and for the first time I'm seeing Die Hard on these lists. I dunno...just because it takes place DURING Christmas, really doesnt make it a "Christmas movie" to me. I mean, i forgot it even took place during Christmas until i saw these lists. The Poseidon Adventure takes place during Christmas, and that isn't a "Christmas movie"
But the fact you said "Any movies where the storyline takes place around Christmas time is fair game!" clears THIS list up at least.
