'Tis the season! As you'll see from my list, it doesn't necessarily have to be about Christmas. Any movies where the storyline takes place around Christmas time is fair game!
10-Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
9-Die Hard
8-Miracle On 34th Street
7-Die Hard II
6-Elf
5-Bad Santa
4-Four Christmases
3-Long Kiss Goodnight
2-A Christmas Story
1-National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
I'm sure I missed some.

I'm gonna make a list. But I've seen a lot of lists this year and for the first time I'm seeing Die Hard on these lists. I dunno...just because it takes place DURING Christmas, really doesnt make it a "Christmas movie" to me. I mean, i forgot it even took place during Christmas until i saw these lists. The Poseidon Adventure takes place during Christmas, and that isn't a "Christmas movie"
But the fact you said "Any movies where the storyline takes place around Christmas time is fair game!" clears THIS list up at least.

1. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation 2. A Christmas Story 3. Disney’s A Christmas Carol 4. The Family Man 5. Love Actually 6. A Nightmare Before Christmas 7. Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale 8. Bad Santa 9. Elf 10. It’s a Wonderful Life
I love Planes, Trains and Automobiles but I won’t include it since it’s a Thanksgiving movie.

[quote author=" spacel0rd" source="/post/110305/thread" timestamp="1386687585") I love Planes, Trains and Automobiles but I won’t include it since it’s a Thanksgiving movie. [/quote] I thought it was Christmas they were trying to get home for? Goes to show how long ago I saw that movie and how much I was reaching, trying to fill out a Top 10! Replace it with "A Christmas Carol" then. I originally wanted that one on my list but had a brain fart when I actually went to type up the list. Never cared for "It's A Wonderful Life" (Hee haw) or "Nightmare Before Christmas" (Always seemed like I should like that movie more than I actually did)

The only Christmas movie I ever got into was Jack Frost starring Micheal Keaton
