I just found a bootlegged copy of the Pat Benatar/ Martina McBride Crossroads episode on DVD and CD for 5.00 each. And Pat's first band from 1974 did an LP (you may have seen it on the "rare pics" thread)...and I got the dude selling that $400.00 LP on ebay to burn me a copy of it (along with her first 45) for 20.00. Score, and Score! What is the Benatar album like? The dude just mailed it today...so i should have it by the end of the week. I heard a song (from the 45 i think) on youtube once. I can't find it now. It was like...ummm...more like Joan Baez and Judy Collins than anything else. More interesting than enjoyable. But for an avid fan like myself, its nice to have. I'll let u know, tho, when I get it in the mail.

This (and the old forum where we all "met") are the only ones I ever been to, really. I've posted on Monster Magnet's and The Clarks' in the past...but not for very long. Is monster magnet any good? I have never heard them except for one song. Try them out.

I've missed it all this season...but I saw all the other episodes and liked them. I think Florentine is (sometimes) funny on the show....but how many times does he have to make the "He was a hot chick back in the 80s" and "I jerked off to Look What the Cat Dragged In album cover" jokes? You gotta love his tshirts tho.
There's nothing out there like it. There is no show that touches on these kinda bands...so I like it.

The bitch who wont stop talking during a slower, softer acoustic song.
The person who complains on the way out cuz "they didn't play the song they wanted to hear, or enough hits."

I had a lot of good times with this CD back in the early to mid 90s:

I've seen the 3 times (twice in a stadium and once in an arena) and loved all three shows. I have some 70s, 80's and 90s CDs and think they are all mostly great. I just dont play them as often as i, maybe, should.
I got their 40 Licks and Shine a Light DVDs. I have been known to rock out to them, at about 2am with about 18 beers in my belly.

I didnt really care for Blue Oyster Cult rerecording a bunch or their classic songs for the entire 'Cult Classic' album....quote] However, I did like their remake of "Astronomy" on Imaginos.
