Name a favorite band or artist and what they should do next: Maybe you have a particular favorite band or artist who you've been critical of for a while. Tell us what you'd like to see them do or what direction you think they should go with their next release.

KISS should go in the studio with ACE, PETER and EDDIE KRAMER and cut an album. I don't care if they ever tour again but I would love a REAL KISS album.
ACE FREHLEY should get off his lazy ass and put an album out as well.
Either way Eddie Kramer should be involved. Anthing KISS/ACE has done with him is really good.

Molly Hatchet needs to shake up their live set. It's been relatively the same for too long now. 2 immediate suggestions that would put them on the right path would be to eliminate the drum solo and play "Fall Of The Peacemakers" in it's entirety. Also, it might not be such a bad idea to play some more of their charting songs like "Satisfied Man", "Bloody Reunion", "Power Play", "The Rambler", "There Goes The Neighborhood", "Stone In Your Heart" and "Lady Luck".
Heart needs to get Howard Leese back into the band and release a solid, rocking album. For starters, maybe they could revisit the live archives and release and expanded addtion of "Rock This House-Live". I have some live videos from that tour and I think the best performances were of the songs that WEREN'T on that album.

Blackfoot should keep both Bobby Barth and Jay Johnson in the band. When they reformed 2 years ago, Bobby Barth took the place of Rick Medlocke on vocals and guitar. When Bobby had neck surgery this spring, Jay Johnson took over that role. Jay sounds almost identical to Medlocke, but I'd keep Bobby in the band because he's an outstanding guitar player and played with the band back in their heyday (ok, toward the END of their heyday, but still......). Also, I'm hearing that their new songs are kinda bluesy. Nothing wrong with a few tunes like that here and there, but I sure as hell hope they aren't gonna release a full out blues set for their comeback album. They were popular back in the day for their hard-edged, high-energy, fist-raisin' rock'n roll, so any comeback album that is anything less should never see the light of day IMO.
The Outlaws should bring back Freddie Salem now that Henry Paul has left the group again. Sure, there are a handful of obnoxious posters on the Outlaws website who don't want Freddie back, but as much as they try to say otherwise, THEY DO NOT SPEAK FOR EVERYONE. Salem is as close as they will get to an original guitarist after Henry Paul. He played on 5 albums during their heyday and contributed numerous songs which could be included in the setlist to give Hughie Thomasson a vocal break. Also, his rockin' attitude could be what keeps them from ending up on CMT ruining their image like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Heart and Bon Jovi.

Uriah Heep should get Ken Hensley and John Lawton back. It may make them interesting again.
Nick Simper should quit his painter/decorator job, and get a full-blooded Warhorse reunion back on the road.
David Coverdale should team up with Marsden/Moody/Murray/Airey for a Snake tour of Europe.
Neil Young should get his Crazy Horse cronies and tour the UK.
Steve Winwood and Dave Mason should bury the hatchet and reform Traffic with Rosko Gee, Randall Bramblett and Walfredo Reyes Jr for a new Traffic.

Glenn Hughes should do a Trapeze tour. Get Mel Galley out of retirement, and with the despicable Dave Holland in jail, get Tommy Aldridge on drums.
Get Robert Wyatt back in The Soft Machine.

I won't say "favorite" by any means but THE RUNAWAYS should get back together, nobody's dead, still time before their looks go. I would like to see that happen. They all seem to still look pretty good.I picked up their movie "Edgeplay"that was released late last year which was a kind of a dark almost depressing documentary of their career. It would've been awesome if Joan Jett would've participated but she didn't & didn't give consent to any songs she wrote. Joan's new CD "Sinner" is great & she looks great

...good call, I love Howard Leese...but I will go two steps further and say they should get Roger Fischer back who played most of those classic solos and get Mike Derosier back on drums. Derosier was a great and highly underrated drummer...

There should be a Rainbow reunion with Dio & Blackmore.
Alice Cooper should join back with Bruce, Dunaway & Smith for a new album/live shows
