Ronnie James Dio should do an album with Yngwie Malmsteen. It would be a perfect match.
Or....Jeff Scott Soto and Malmsteen.
Dave Mustaine should do whatever it takes, short of hiring a little Japanese schoolgirl to sing, in order to get Marty Friedman back. I mean, give him a buttload of money.
Axl Rose should crawl back to Slash and beg him to take him back.
Dream Theater should re-hire Kevin Moore on keys.
Chris DeGarmo should re-join Queensryche.
Dweezil Zappa should join forces with Steve Vai and tour the States playing Frank's music....oh....wait...never mind...check that one off the list.

I'll drink to that one ! Al Pitrelli is an awesome guitarist, but he was wrong for Megadeth IMO. Can't remember who's with them now. I'm sure whoever it is is awesome too, you HAVE to be to play Megadeth music, but Marty was just incredible and his style meshed well with Mustaine's style. Without Friedman and now with Ellefson out of the band, Megadeth can now be lumped in with Molly Hatchet, Thin Lizzy, Foreigner and these other bands touring with but one original member or less.

I won't say "favorite" by any means but THE RUNAWAYS should get back together, nobody's dead, still time before their looks go. Not sure about what the Runaways are apt or willing to do, but considering the "girl" bands, and for what it's worth, it was just announced that the "Go Go's are gonna give er another "Go". I don't have pics but I did catch something on the news yesterday about it. Belinda and Co. are looking a little haggard, but then aren't we all?...hahaha. Considering that they made a splash in 81', it's only fair to say that time certainly will have taken it's toll. Let's hope they can keep the gig going though...good for them! Thanks Kim

[quote author=bass63 board=TALK thread=1152766154 post=1152835268 AEROSMITH NEEDS TO GET BACK ON DRUGS SO THAT THEY CAN START WRITING WORTH A Sh*t AGAIN. [/quote] Goddamned!!!...that has to be the funniest thing I have heard in a long time and yet, a big part of me tends to agree!!! hahahahahahahahahahahaha Seriously...this is a group with a lot of talent and a number of early albums to prove it...but enough with the commercial, sell-out style of music already!!! These guys never needed to change styles and material in order to capture the younger crowds hearts...that'll come naturally considering that most of the Gen X'ers already know them from the early days anyway, thanks to modern technology. They hit a blip like a lot of bands of the 70's did. Some recovered, (look at ZZ Top), some didn't. Granted, Aerosmith gained a lot of ground a few years back and garnered a whole new audience...but at what expense? Only to ailienate their original fan base. Not to destruction however. I'm sure a good majority would place the "smart money" on another great Aerosmith album coming out before ever seeing a solid Van Halen reunion regardless of whether it was Roth or Hagar fronting the group. Something about Aerosmith still spells "classic" and if you truly believe in them...it's quite possible that it can happen. Get back to the roots guys!...I mean the roots!!! Never mind telling us how much you love yer sweetie when she's sleeping...tell us more about Uncle Salty and the toys that he had in the attic! ;D...makes much more sense o me anyway??? As far as getting back to the "drugs"...wellllllll...I wouldn't expect the guys to start shootin' peanut butter back into their veins once again...but c'mon...surely to heavens a couple of beers and some good ole BC bud once in awhile wouldn't hurt and would most likely wake up the sleeping memory banks that still harbour the vaults of their collective artistically creative imaginations? (I'm ready for my smiting now Sandi)............. Thanks Kim

Eddie Van Halen should come out with a stellar album... afterall he’s got “ten albums of material”. Make it historical with David Lee Roth as lead singer...
Good call on the Ac/Dc comment and Rainbow getting together again with Dio.
Add:
I’d like to hear some brand new Starz...

. Dream Theater should re-hire Kevin Moore on keys. . Moore would never do it....he's too into the Chroma Key/OSI type stuff that he's been doing for the last 7 or 8 years. Which I think is great. His chroma key stuff reminds me of Rick Wright.

I would like to see another get together w/ Page, Plant, JPJ, and Jason Bonham. Just one big show or maybe a small tour, but no new stuff. I think an album would just not sound right without Bonzo and them being so old. A big-ass tour like KISS or Queen would kinda just pop the Zeppelin bubble.(pun intended) Plus I've heard some of Robert Plant's newer stuff and its just...kinda...weird.

Kevin Dubrow should get rid of the wig, it looks totally fake and out dated.

Savatage should put out a new studio album as well, and not just the final live CD/DVD that's supposedly going to happen.
