Just curious...for one night only, you get to choose who it is that you would like to see.
No frills, same deal applys, you may not get the best of seats, but...you get to see them in all of their original glory...whether it's a good concert or not...let's say, to stay on par... a "half decent - to good" gig. Also, all groups with surviving members are comprised of the original lineup...or...if you want...the ones you would like to see aas in the case of VH with either Dave or Sammy...your choice!
Tickets are on sale...FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY.
Who would you pick?
Remember, the tickets are $500 each...so if you want to take the wife and kids...welllllllll...man!...that's gonna add up!
Who are we to deny them?...after all, they were and are the ones that we continue to praise and support...right?
So pick one..what's $500.00?...right?...a few cases of beer, an oil change...light shopping, dinner and a movie...maybe some lottery tickets and a couple of DVD's?...not including gratuities.
Thanks Kim

LED ZEP BECAUSE I NEVER GOT TO SEE THEM LIVE. AND I KNOW THE $500 WOULD BE WELL SPENT.

I'd pay 500 dollars for a few of them but to see the original members of Steppenwolf would be my first choice.

As many of these bands are still arond in on form or another I could still see them for a lot less $$$, but the ones who have dead members, thats an entirely different story. I choose Led Zeppelin, but would be more than willing to shell it out for the Beatles, Jimi, SRV (who I've seen), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen /w Freddy, & yes, probably Elvis. As for the bands that are still around on this list who could comprise (bring together) original members still alive I'd fork it out for VH & Deep Purple MK II & MK III.

Out of that list the first choice had to be The Beatles...but there would be a few others like Hendrix,Thin Lizzy(Robertson era preferably but any Lynott era would do), Zeppelin and DLR era Van Halen

I don't know if I would shell out 500 bucks for a show but maybe if I could go back to 1973 & see a triple bill of: Original Alice Cooper Group Headlining Sensational Alex Harvey Band NY Dolls w/ Kane,Thunders,Nolan,Sylvain,& Johansen

Definitely Thin Lizzy. Any era from Robertson on. After that I would choose Zeppelin, although I have seen Plant/Page and it was as close as I will ever get to have seen them.

Queen (with Freddy of course) and the original line-up of Styx would be my second (but I voted for Queen).

I really don't think I can justify paying that much for ANYBODY. Maybe, I'd pay $500 to see ALL these bands in their prime time glory at one imaginary all-day event in which the purchase of one ticket also entitled you to an all-day groin massage from an 18-year-old asian chick . So I vote for "other" ;D.

Led Zeppelin, because I never got to see them.
Styx and Queen would be up there, but I've already seen both at their best already....
