I still use an 80's and 90's era stereo equipment in my bedroom. The receiver and tape deck are from the early/mid 80's and the speakers, turntable and CD player are from the 90's. Sounds pretty good. Although both my receivers and tapedecks(have 2 of each of the same models) need some work. I just need to find someone who will work on them.

I actually love most of Tom Cruise's movies. They guy is a strange cat for sure but I can't help but like his movies and the first Jack Reacher movie is great. The second one is really good to....but the first one is the best.

Brady is the Greatest of all time hands down. Montana was amazing. Joe was an amazing leader and a class act. We are lucky we got to watch him play. Brady however has done something no other player or QB has accomplished and it will never happen again. You will never see a QB or any player win that many Super Bowls with a single team and it is doubtful any player will win that many with multiple teams. How many times have you seen Brady come back and win the game in the second half or the 4th quarter? He picks defenses apart. It's not that he is the greatest passer, has the greatest arm or is the greatest athlete...it's that he is a technician. He is smart and he is accurate. He has great vision. Sometimes he is sloppy...I will say that...but he usually overcomes it and adjusts. That Super Bowl win against the Falcons may be the greatest Super Bowl or Football game I have ever seen. Brady never panicked and showed how great he is in that game. The guy is the ultimate leader. I am a fan....but even if I wasn't I would still acknowledge he is the greatest. Montana is the only other QB in the conversation as the greatest and to me Brady surpassed him with the win over the Falcons two years ago. He may have been the greatest after the win agains the Seahawks.

Hard fought defensive battle. I love all the critics and anti Brady Journalists calling it the worst Super Bowl ever. It was a very good game and both defenses were impressive. The last Brady drive in the fourth quarter was great. I enjoyed the game personally. I was happy Brady got his 6th ring. We will never see a player in our lifetime do that with a single team again. We got to watch history made.

First Slash's Snakepit album. That was his best band outside of GNR....and actually rival GNR. Of course it is 3/5 of the last 90's era lineup. First off Eric Dover was a great singer and frontman. He should have kept him around for sure. I am not the biggest Matt Sorum fan....but he plays his ass off on this album. Also you can distinguish between Slash and Gilby Clarke's guitar....and I will have to say Gilby plays some tasty rhythm guitar on this record. He plays a lot of cool parts and really adds a lot and both guitar players compliment each other. Very well produced album as well. Might be one of my favorite GNR associated albums and that includes 'Appetite..'

So what is your Super Bowl Prediction Jesse?
I think it will be a close game.....but it really is hard to bet against Brady and the Pats. I know Brady has lost three Super Bowls....so it is not unheard of....but damn he, Belichick and the Pats just find ways to win. The Rams are damn good....but I gotta give the edge to the Pats on this one....

The Saints deserved that win and the game should have ended with a pass interference call. It was one of the most obvious calls I have ever seen. Granted I did not see the game live because I was at work but I did see the replay in real time and in slow motion. It was actually two penalties from the same player. Pass interference and and a helmet to helmet hit. So tired of the bad officiating in the NFL.... Yeah, that was a bullshit noncall. Still, Saints probably shouldn't have been throwing the ball at that point. Should have been running the ball and chewing up the clock and take the gimmie FG with seconds left. I do find it a bit humorous. Waaaaay back in 2006, I was screaming about the half-dozen or so awful calls in Superbowl XL. Every one against the Seahawks and almost every one occurring just as the Seahawks were gaining momentum or threatening to take the lead. I was told by countless football fans to "quit your crying". I was told that I was being a sore loser. They said that "bad calls are part of the game" and "a team has to be good enough to overcome a bad call or two". Sometimes I wonder if those same people are the ones who are now screaming about the bad call in New Orleans or that the refs favored the Patriots. I remember you being pretty outspoken on the forum about that Seahwaks/Steelers Superbowl. I felt the same way. That was just bad officiating throughout the entire game. I basically felt that the officials and the NFL wanted to give Jerome Bettis(who was at the end of his career) a Super Bowl victory in his hometown of Detroit. I still feel that way. I never was a Steelers fan. I only would root for them in the days of Bradshaw when they would play the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. I hated the Cowboys. But after that Super Bowl game against Seattle....I hated the Steelers. I think Steeler fans are another reason I can't stand that team. I got into a little FB debate with some Rams fans about that game on Sunday. I said the refs must have been Rams fans......they started defending the non calls by comparing the two face mask non calls....fair enough....but those were not game ending plays. They all started going into big "what if" scenarios that if those face masks had been called it would have given The Rams first downs, they would driven down to the red zone scored touchdowns, the Saints wouldn't have been in a tie situation but behind and Rams would have probably won......it was so ridiculous the comparison logic. They acted like it was the same thing and the same result going the Rams way. To me that non call on the Pass INT or Helmet to helmet was cut and dry. Saints should be going to the Super Bowl. The officiating office called and apologized to Sean Payton and admitted they got it wrong. The Rams defender admitted it was a Pass INT and was relieved when he saw the call was an incomplete pass. Boomer Esiason was pretty angry about it to....and he should be. The upside of this is that at least I do not have to watch two teams I like play against each other in the Super Bowl.

Gotta hand it to the Rams. This week it was the Saints that got off to a great start and the Rams who made the necessary adjustments to win. Still, it feels anti-climactic, I really thought it was Drew Brees' year. :/ The Saints deserved that win and the game should have ended with a pass interference call. It was one of the most obvious calls I have ever seen. Granted I did not see the game live because I was at work but I did see the replay in real time and in slow motion. I thought Peter Baltes lived in Pennsylvania somewhere. Is that where you live Jesse? I didn't think he moved away from that area....even when Accept reformed. I know Wolf lives in Nashville and Michael Wagner's studio in on Wolf's property.

If the weather gets that cold in KC....I think the advantage goes to New England. Tom Brady has much experience in throwing in the worse conditions. New England typically has the worse weather and they know how to play in it. It might be KC at home but Mahomes hasn't been in this position really until the Colts game. He did well....but he wasn't playing the Pats. The only advantage is the home crowd for KC.
Further SB Preditons:
If it is The Rams and The Pats.....Pats take that game. Rams running game will hurt but Brady will hurt them more. If it is the Saints against the Pats....I think The Saints win by a close game. As good as Brady still is....Brees is playing better right now and has one of the best running games in the NFL.
If it is KC against The Rams....I might have to give the edge to the Rams. They beat them earlier this year in one of the highest scoring games ever. That was when KC still had Kareem Hunt. The other KC backs have stepped up since but the Rams I think have more offensive weapons and one of the other best RB combinations going right now
If it is Saints against KC.....gotta go with the Saints. As good as Mahomes is.....Brees is playing just as good and is arguably MVP of the league this year. He is going to lead his team to victory.
I hate that I am going to miss both Championship games on Sunday....it really sucks but I requested off for Superbowl Sunday. Not missing that whoever gets in. I will be disappointed if it ends up being KC vs LA.

Interesting review.....and I agree at why it probably was not one of their more popular albums. I like where they went with the album and 'On The Hunt ' is one of my favorite Skynyrd songs. I don't see the album as super radio friendly and maybe that is why like it so much. You makes some great points in your review Jesse. Thanks!

Gary Moore-Corridors of Power. Maybe not one of Gary's most consistent albums, but it has some of his best work. 'End of The World' with Jack Bruce, 'Don't Take Me for A loser'. great cover of 'Wishing Well' and "Cold Hearted" . The outro solo for "Cold Hearted" makes the hairs stand up on my neck. So much tension in Gary's lead work, as well as melody and aggression. Also his stratocaster tone on this album, 'Victims Of The Future' and 'We Want Moore' can't be beat. Every time I hear Gary's music from the 80's it makes me want to be a better guitarist.

The reboot of 'IT' was really good. Forgot that I saw that in the theater when it came out. It even had Anthrax's cover of "Antisocial" in the movie....haha. Also so the last 'Halloween' movie. That one was pretty good. Had the return of Jamie Lee Curtis. My only issue is that it kind of a reboot and only a sequel to the first film. Kind of an alternate universe or alternate sequel if that makes sense. Same guy that played Mike Myers in the first movie reprises the role again.

Jesse I assume you are at least a casual Skynyrd fan like I am.....my favorite album of their's is probably 'Nuthin Fancy'.....probably because it has more deep cuts on it. What's your take on that album? I always dug songs like "On The Hunt", "Am I losin" and "Whiskey Rock A Roller". The whole album is really good I think....but I like that the one hit "Saturday Night Special" is the only song you hear in regular rotation....and that is a great song and one I never got tired of.

Once again, I am 0-2 on Saturday's games. In my defense, neither the Colts nor Cowboys looked anything like the teams that played last weekend. Andrew Luck was skipping balls off the turf when he wasn't having his passes tipped at the line of scrimmage and the Cowboys' defense had all the stopping power of a wet paper bag. Both teams made stupid mistakes and costly penalties that blew any chance they had to win the games. That said, one can't dismiss the fact that the Chiefs and Rams both played some excellent, mistake-free football. Mahonnes led the Chiefs up and down the field seemlingly at will and both Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson absolutely steamrolled a very good Dallas defense. Both teams probably would've won anyway the way they were playing yesterday, but again, it seemed like the Colts and Cowboys weren't even trying. Yeah was really surprised at how bad Luck(pun not intended but appreciated) and The Colts played. I was rooting for them.....and yeah Gurley and Anderson just plowed right through that Dallas line. Although I will say that The Rams offensive line looked really good. They opened up some huge holes for both Gurley and Anderson....and they also kept Goff off his back. Well executed football by LA and Kansas City. I had to work today so I could only track the Saints and Pats games on my phone. Super happy both the Saints and Pats won....and hope they both win next week. If that happens then I am in a little bit of a jam because I like both teams. New Olreans is my number 2 team and Brees is my favorite player. New England is my number 3 team and I am big fan of Brady and want to see him get ring number 6. I will have to say that it is more important that Brees gets a second ring. So I would probably have to pull for The Saints....but it will be a tough game to watch if it happens. Here are my Championship predictions for next week: Kansas City over New England by a narrow margin.....however if New England's Defense shows up....I think the edge is to New England. The weather will not be a factor to them. This game is almost to close to call for me. I think overall the advantage is with KC. I hope I am wrong. Saints over The Rams by a narrow margin. Both teams have 2 great running backs and will be interesting. I give the edge to Brees at home though. He has plenty of playoff experience and it will serve him well. oh yeah and I was 4-0 for round two.....had to throw that in there.......

I just don't see the Cowboys getting past the Rams. The Cowboys offense consists of Elliot and that's it. The Chiefs are a different team than past playoff teams. Even with Hunt out of the picture they were still winning. Too many weapons to lose to the Colts.....The Colts had an amazing run since their 1-5 start. Luck had a great year. It will be a good game. I just hope The Saints show up with their A game and not the team that lost to the Cowboys. Brees has the experience but for a backup Foles knows how to get it done. If I was Phili....Foles would be my starter next year. Well, I had to pick 2 games different than you There's been serious debate going on in Philly in recent weeks about trading Wentz and keeping Foles. It'll never happen, but if the Eagles win this week, it will be a very tough sell to Eagles' fans to trade away Foles and keep going with the injury-prone Wentz. Yeah I agree....and Foles was top notch in the playoffs and SB win last season.

Bruce Dickinson-Skunkworks
Been reading his book and he talks about this album. I actually like it a great deal. Skunkworks is actually the name of the band and the album. More of a Soundgarden, AIC vibe. More of a heavy rock album than a heavy metal album.

Here are my predictions for week 2:
The Chiefs over The Colts The Rams over The Cowboys The Patriots over The Chargers The Saints over The Eagles
The only game I hope I am wrong about is the Chiefs vs. Colts.
