"Doing Time" does kinda sound like GNR, not necessarily the type of GNR song I would normally get into, but I see the similarities. "Hail To The King" has a slight Iron Maiden vibe, but not much. Guitar line and vocal makes it sound like one of the better songs from IM's Blaze Bayley era. Bass and, especially the drums kinda kill any comparisons to Iron Maiden IMO. Too simple. Drums coulda been done with a drum machine and wouldn't sound any different. That said, it IS a great song, I just think the Iron Maiden reference is a stretch at best. "Coming Home".......now THIS one sounds like Iron Maiden to my ears! Really good stuff, I keep meaning to get some music by these guys, this song might just push me over that edge.  |

Yea. Hail to the King is very "Blaze Sounding." I thought that too.
Coming Home soudns like modern-day Maiden to me. Kind of like "When the Wild Wind Blows" from 2010.
