I know this has probably been done before. But what the hell, let's do it again. These polls used to pop up all the time and I always thought they were fun, so what's you favorite Bon Scott era AC/DC Album?

Went with Powerage. Don't know what it is about that album but it really stands out in the Bon era. I think because it's a little more diverse I guess.

Powerage is probably my 2nd fave but the guitar sound on LTBR makes that album my fave, thsoe guitars are SO LOUD you can hear their fingers hitting the strings before EVERY song.

Highway to Hell for me. Not a throw away on it IMO.
My wife would vote for High Voltage

Without a doubt for me, I have to go with Let There Be Rock.
As much as I love "It's a Long Way To Rock and Roll......" from the debut release, LTBR does it for me in its consistency in regards to the tracks included on this release.
For me, when it comes to ACDC, there isn't a clunker on the album. Straight ahead, no filler, kick ass rock from start to finish.
Very few albums do it for me such as this one does.
Thanks Kim

POWERAGE
SOOO GREAT!
I cannot live without my: What's Next To the Moon OR Down Payment Blues
And the inbetween songs hold water just fine as well.

Had to go with 'Powerage'. I'll never forget back in 1978 Seeing AC/DC open for Aerosmith. My friends & I never heard of them & as the show's date was growing closer we began hearing rumors that they were a "Punk" band w/ a giant singer & a midget guitarist. We were prepared to boo them off the stage but Wow!!! They blew us away & for some reason the song that really stuck with me was "Sin City" so soon after the show I bought 'Powerage' & that album has always been my favorite since. I do love "High Voltage" (Live Wire & the Jack are two of my other favorite songs). I seen AC/DC with Bon Scott 3 times plus I seen the Movie "Let There Be Rock" in a 3000 seat theater when it first was released & those shows with Bon were unreal whether it was his snapping of the mic cord or him pulling a bananna out of his pants & handing it to a young lady in the front row... Bon was one cool MF!

'Let There Be Rock' for me. Love the rawness of that album....and "Overdose"is probably one of the greatest AC/DC songs ever.
