All I know is that they are in concert in mine and Jesse's area on Jesse's birthday, September 19th. What a great b-day present that would be.

It'd be cool if they let Nancy sing with REO, I think she could sing those songs better than Kevin Cronin anymore. Don't cry Kev, you can still be the frontman and tell your 10 minute story to introduce a 4 minute song . ;D

I saw HEART with KENNY LOGANS in 1976. They both put on a nice live concert. I was into stuff like Trower & Mahogany Rush at the time.
Then in 1978, at the Cal. Jam 2. During the daytime they sounded real good. Everybody was still moving around and they were making a great soundtrack for a great day.

BUT SINCE THAT TOUR I SURE HAVE HEARD A LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE CAN'T SHUT UP BETWEEN SONGS. MAYBE KEVIN NEEDS TO GET OFF OF HIS DUFF & WRITE SOME NEW TUNES SO THAT THEY HAVE MORE TO PLAY THAN THE SAME OLD SAME OLD. THAT WAY HE WOULDN'T HAVE TO KILL SO MUCH TIME BETWEEN SONGS.

Oh Smilygirl......dork! This show is a HELLUVA LOT closer to us that the Reading show on the 19th! I saw them at this venue in 1999, that's when I met Howard Leese . I think I was in, like th 9th row or maybe even closer. Cool show, but their opening song sucked . Only thing I liked about the opening song was that the drummer, bassist, rhythm guitarist and percussionist came out first and started the song, then both Ann Wilson and Howard Leese "made and entrance" to thunderous applause. I got a lesson in guitar and keyboard playing that night as Leese played 99% of the leads and 100% of the keyboards. On "Tall, Dark, Handsome Stranger" he was hammering on the leads with his left hand and playing the keyboard line with his right! Awesome! He did some amazing shit on guitar for "Magic Man" too, straying from the original solo and ignoring the keyboard parts altogether. At first I was pissed that he changed it up so much, but by the end of the song my jaw was on the floor in amazement, there was smoke coming off that fretboard, I swear! If I remember correctly, their setlst that night was something like this: Voodoo Child Never Magic Man Straight On Black On Black II All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You What Is And What Should Never Be Gimmie Shelter Tall, Dark Handsome Stranger Barracuda Encore: Alone Black Dog Shit, I KNOW they played more than that, but I can't remember what . I know the first 4 songs are correct and in order as are the last 3 and the encore. I know they played a Love Mongers song or 2 and a new song (From one of their "Greatest Hits" packages that I still don't have).....they may have played "Wild Child" in there somewhere too.....been awhile, but I'm usually good at remembering this kind of shit.
