It's that time of year when the artists hit the road and bless us with their presence whether it be outdoor stadium venues or inhouse concert gigs.
What's on your list of shows to catch this summer?
I hear via the grapevine that we will have the opportunity to see The Tragically Hip as an outdoor gig the long weekend in August. That's about all I've heard of thus far with the exception of yet another nice lineup playing the Mattawa Voyageur days in late July.
Thanks Kim

Not much so far...
Not summer yet, but going to see Springsteen here in Pittsburgh next Tuesday! After that no plans yet. I would like to make the trip to Cleveland to see Heaven & Hell but we'll see.
I am thinking about seeing Yes and Asia this summer but not sure about a Jon Anderson-less lineup.

My new girlfriend is taking me to the triple bill of Poison, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick! September 2nd in Mountain View California at the Shoreline Amphitheater. I'm not sure what's getting me more excited, the show or the fact that I FINALLY GOT ME A SUGAR MAMA! YIPPEE!

I hope the show is enjoyable for you. Let us know what the set list was comprised of and most of all how the vocals were. Thanks Kim

I finally have some tix to a couple of shows…nothing special tho- just some newer alternative bands. August 17 I am going to go see Metric (for 5.00). Also...August 22nd I am going to a Summerfest (also 5.00) to see The Living Things, Band Of Skulls, Black Joe Lewis and the Honey Bears, Stellastarr*, Company of Thieves and Matt and Kim.
Nothing really in the true style of Classic Rock...tho The Living Things would be close. Black Joe Lewis is kinda like 70s funk with a horn section.
