Good post there anyone seen anything on the wife of the guy I think it was the singers wife that passed away a few weeks ago?...I never heard why she passed away.. IT WAS BOBBY INGRAM THE LEAD GUITARIST' WIFE. I NEVER DID HEAR WHAT FOR SURE SHE DIED OF. OTHER THAN THAT IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH A LONG STANDING ILLNESS. POOR GUY MY HEART GOES TO HIM. HIS WIFE I BELIEVE WAS JUST IN HER EARLY 30'S.

HIS WIFE I BELIEVE WAS JUST IN HER EARLY 30'S. She was 33. Apparently she had some health issues a few years ago and, yeah, her death was related to those issues, but I don't know what those problems were. Through the Molly Hatchet Egroup I heard a few things from Bobby on her. -Believe it or not, she never even HEARD OF Molly Hatchet before she met Bobby in the early 90's! -Since the mid 90's when Bobby took over the band, she worked with him side-by-side as co-manager of the band. -She had been with the band for several days before she died. The whole band had taken a break for a week and Bobby was with her when she died.

IT WOULD BE A PRETTY COOL GIG WOULDN'T IT?! Yeah I did know that, while I was out of work I offered my services on the Egroup (Bobby DOES read the posts on that forum), but now I'm back to work and, in all seriousness, have too many commitments at home to be going on the road with ANY band...but it would've been cool! They woulda had to change up the setlist for me anyhow as I don't know all their concert staples, I had it figured out one time that I could do a setlist of Molly Hatchet as long as it went something like this: Bounty Hunter Find Somebody New Lady Luck Gator Country Heart Of The USA Stone In Your Heart Fall Of The Peacemakers Edge Of Sundown Down From The Mountain Tatanka Satified man Why WOn't You Take Me Home Bloody Reunion Beatin' The Odds Dreams I'll Never See Flirtin' With Disaster Guitarist Russ Maxwell left the band in March of this year, Bobby was going to give an official statement as to why, but then his wife passed away and that was no longer a priority. Kinda pisses me off really as they just recorded an album in February WITH Maxwell. This will be the fourth album in a row where they couldn't keep the same lineup together from the recording of an album until it's release! BTW-Good luck to your brother's friend!

Yeah, I was actually surprised by how she looked, everyone on the Molly Hatchet E-group who met her was saying how great a personality she had, I kinda thought that was the old code words for "she ain't too pretty", but damn! She was BEAUTIFUL......and if her personality overshadowed her beauty, she musta been an incredible person! Yeah, sometimes I think God has the wrong list too.

Boy, Molly Hatchet has went through a lot of members. Must be a record!

Boy, Molly Hatchet has went through a lot of members. Must be a record! On another board one time we did a thread on what bands went through the most members and Hawkwind was the only band that could top Molly Hatchet! But that was about 2 years ago and Molly Hatchet has gone through some more members since! At that time, I think they were around 32 people who had played as Molly Hatchet....they're gonna get in Guiness' Book of World Records one way or another! ;D
