Neil Young Live At Massey Hall 1971 Review by Bucky This is a solid solo/acoustic performance recorded live from Toronto that has phenomenal sound quality(personally I prefer this to his 1993 ‘Unplugged ‘ release). Neil’s vocals and guitar are crisp & clean as he strums his way through 17 classics including a phenomenal version of “Cowgirl In the Sand”. Neil Young stated that he was going to sing mostly new songs, and a couple of tunes he played were “Old Man” and “The Needle & the Damage Done” which were brand new at the time & still not released. Another highlight of the set is the classic CSNY song “Ohio”.
