STONE MOUNTAIN, Georgia (AP) -- A Georgia driver's education instructor is in a hospital after one of her students ran over her, leaving her pinned under the car for 15 minutes. The 64-year-old driver's education aide, Patricia Erwin, was freed by firefighters with a special jack and a Jaws of Life device after the accident Friday. A DeKalb County schools spokesman said Erwin underwent surgery to repair broken ribs, a broken leg and a shoulder injury. Erwin, who has taught driving for 20 years, was working with the students on a drill that included pulling forward and backing up at slow speeds. Wow, I wonder if they passed?
