I know we have talked here in the past about our favorite Rock & Roll movies. Yesterday I was in a Big Lots store here in Casper and came upon a bin of DVDs for $3 each. In it I found the movie Still Crazy. Having heard some of you folks talk about the movie before I thought what the heck for three bucks! What a great movie! And the soundtrack was pretty good too!
You're thoughts on this flick and what are some of you're favorite "Rock & Roll" movies?

That was an awesome movie. I only have it on VHS. Probably my favorite Rock movie ever!
Almost Famous was pretty good too.

I love the movie "Get Crazy" which stars Malcolm McDowell as an aging Rock star(named Reggie Wanker) & his penis ends up being the bands' manager. John Densmore is the drummer of Mcdowell's band.
The movie also stars Daniel Stern as a stage manager who tries to pull a New Years Eve Concert together but he has to get by the villain of the movie Ed Begley Jr. & his two henchman Bobby Sherman & Fabian. Lou Reed spends the entire movie in a taxi trying to get to the gig.
And no I'm not making any of this up...unfortunately it hasn't been released on DVD yet. It's from 1983
Almost Famous is phenominal
Rock Star was cool
Thunder Alley is worth it just because Leif Garret plays the singer of a heavy band
Joey was a good movie,it's about a country boy who wants to make it as a rock guitarist but his Dad sang in a Doo Wop Group & became an alcoholic
Spinal Tap Rules & so does Rust Never Sleeps

Still Crazy is a great movie. I haven't seen it in a while I'll have to ad to my Netflix cue.
What about "Eddie and The Cruisers"?
