Just got back from seeing the legendary Blue Cheer live, and they totally rocked the house! Small venue, but these guys after 40 years still kick ass big time live. My ears are still ringing from how loud it was! I would strongly encourage anyone, if they get the chance, to do not pass go, collect $200...well, maybe collect the $200...but definitely go see these legends live, you won't regret it! Here's a video I took of "Parchment Farm" youtube.com/watch?v=Omu0MltbPHgExcuse the distortion and dark lighting. The original video was much lighter, but as for the distortion, that's how loud it was. It's no wonder Dickie Peterson has callouses on his eardrums!

I'm with you there, I saw them this past fall and they were incredible! I agree, anyone interested in loud, hard rock n roll with awesome leads owes it to themselves to see them. They will blow you through the back wall of the club.

If they come back to the NYC area, I will definitely go, my appetite has been whetted!

Another video of "Out Of Focus" youtube.com/watch?v=pw6C3a7mXwsIf you dig a LOT of bass in your music, these guys have it, and then some! I think the loudness must've caused some sort of cosmic disturbance as after being in the mid 50's during the day, when we got out there was a near blizzard outside, with near zero visibility, which made for an interesting drive home!
