Even though it's been thirty-one years since Pink Floyd released their opus Dark Side of the Moon, a back-up singer on the album thinks the time is right to sue the band for unpaid royalties.
Singer/songwriter Clare Torry claims she wrote track four, "The Great Gig in the Sky" - however on the LP sleeve, the lyrics are credited to band members Roger Waters and Richard Wright. However, if you listen to the song it's actually just Torry belting away without any discernible lyrics. Pink Floyd and their record label EMI are being sued for damages and for unlawful copies of the track to be destroyed. Torry maintains she was only paid $54 for her contribution.
