I tell you what...it has been years since I listened to a CD as many days in a row as I did with A Matter of Life and Death. I think I listened to it at work for about three weeks, straight. And then after seeing them in concert play the CD in its entirety (I drove to Detroit for the show), in my mind, it has become a classic as much as Number of the Beast or Piece of Mind. I would put Brave New World next…and then Dance of Death third.
I really hope they put out numerous more CDs.

I also prefer their latest release but I enjoy the other 2 as well.I think the triple guitar has worked well for them

"Brave NEw World" was one big-assed disappointment IMO......I haven't bought an Iron Maiden album since.

I love the latest record. I went and saw them play in Los Angeles in October. Great show. Probably the best stage show I have ever seen.

1.Number Of The Beast 2.Piece Of Mind 3.Powerslave 4.Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son 5.Somewhere In Time
These five are all fine albums. All others are too average ones.
