Won't Get Fooled Again- The Who I have to with Warpig on that.As soon as I read the question that was the first song that popped in my head. The way the music builds up & leads to that scream whether it's live or the studio version it always pumps me up.I got that same feeling seeing them live in 1979 & also seeing the movie the Kids Are Alright in the theater when it first was released.

I just don't know how you can top (the end of) Motor City Madman on Ted Nugent's Double Live Gonzo. I remember seeing Ted at Summer Jam many moons ago in Kansas City. He came out swinging on a rope...jumped down...strutted up to the mic...and let out about a minute long scream that had everyone in Arrowhead Stadium holding their ears in pain! Gawd damn, that was kick ass!

I screamed so loud at a concert that I won a 1975 Gibson Marauder, not bad for one scream.

I don't know if it's the greatest but Roger Waters scream in the song "Gunners Dream" on the Final Cut is pretty cool.

Not much to it really, at the end of a warm-up bands set at a WAR BABIES concert , can't remember the bands name the guitarist yelled to the crowd "who ever screams the loudest wins my guitar". I knew all the dudes would just yell like mad truck drivers, I screamed like Rob Halford in a very high key that would drowned them all out. Which it did, I was louder than 450 guys all put together! Everyone back away from me covering their ears and started pointing like I had won, so the guitartist jumped off the stage and handed me his guitar. The guitarist from WAR BABIES came up to me freakin out how loud I screamed and how cool the guitar was. I sold it the next day to the music store I worked at at the time for $470.00, not bad for one scream.

Have to go with the Who myself, but need to give props to Jeff Keith of Tesla. He has a very unique scream that can be mistaken for no one else.

Save The Planet - Edgar Winter's White Trash
Winter's screaming at the end is just something else. Has to be heard to be believed. Jesus.
Think Ian Gillan's screams at the end of Strange Kind of Woman on Made in Japan, but a lot longer.

I am going to agree with 'Won't Get Fooled Again'....when you think of screams in rock n roll songs that is the first that comes to mind. I think a close second is the scream from Bruce Dickinson at the beginning of "The Number Of The Beast", and then Paul Di'Anno's screams in the songs "Wrathchild" and the beginning of "Killers"
