Blackmore's Night
I got them all up until this new one. I just couldn't face it anymore. Haven't been able to face it for a while, but I was trying to kid myself.

Metallica after "Load" Deliverance after "Learn" (coincidentaly their second album in a row in which 3/4 of their members were replaced : Whitecross after "Flytrap" (Not even sure if they released anything after that turd) Yes ("Talk" was their last album that I "got". I have 2 more from after that album, I think "The Ladder" and "Magnification" are the titles........they do nothing for me, so I don't buy into Yes anymore ) Mercyfull Fate (Again, I don't know the exact time I stopped buying their stuff, but I gave them several chances to follow up the terrific comeback record "In The Shadows" and they've dissappointed me everytime, so I don't spend my money on them anymore.) U.D.O. after "No Limits" (Actually I gave up on them after guitarist Mathias Dieth left them, but I heard a few songs fro this CD and bought it and enjoyed it. I've heard much of their stuff since and it's mostly bad reproductions of his earlier material) Quiet Riot after "Down To THe Bone" (Awful record. Not sure how much they've released since then, but I saw them live in 2001 and COMPLETELY gave up all hope in them ) I HAD stopped buying stuff from both the Charlie Daniels Band and Marshall Tucker Band in the mid-90's after both had put out a string of shitty records, but both have since redeemed themselves IMO (CDB in late 90's, MTB in 2004) and I'm back to buying their stuff with or without hearing it first.

I actually thought there was some really good stuff on 'Dead Again' and '9'. I think you are right though that 'In The Shadows' was better. The song 'Egypt' alone was worth the price of the album....and the whole album was good. I don't get the sense that Mercyful Fate is going to put out another album anytime soon if at all.

I go through stages with my cd's where I sell them and then rebuy the same albums later. I have done this with old Kiss alot. I would not, and never have bought anything newer than 'Destroyer'
I would by some of the old Queensryche stuff again....but I gave up on them after 'Empire'
Not interested in modern Deep Purple....although I want to get a copy of 'Gillan's Inn'.

BON JOVI AFTER NEW JERSEY. I GUESS I JUST GOT BURNT OUT ON THEM. ( NOW HERE COMES KIM WITH..... WHY DID YOU START IN THE FIRST PLACE?! LOL) Hahahahaha Frank!!... It appears some folks do recall my unfair and somewhat bombastic opinions from time to time...hahaha... Seriously, as much as I hammer Bon Jovi, I respect the fact that they are a force to be reckoned with musically and I certainly WOULD NOT belittle anyone for appreciating and enjoying their music. As I've mentioned before, it's just not my cuppa so to speak. This also comes from a guy that is most likely alone in the thoughts that Meatloaf was waaaaaay overrated from Day 1 and never will you find a single tune in my humble collection...however...I respect the fact that so many of the great folks here on the board like Meatloaf and for the most part probably see something in the music that I have obviously missed over these many years that these albums have been delivering musically?...again...just my personal taste. I guess it's safe to say that I've actually stopped buying Tull albums. Last one I got was Dot Com and after Roots To Branches, I was hoping for a return to a release with a little more spunk. Alas, again in my opinion...the music just wasn't there for me. Thanks Kim

Def Leppard!
Apparently they think they are more like the Thompson Twins than they are Dio.
Whatever.
