Not bad. A little biased towards Guns'n Roses IMO, but I've seen a lot worse lists posted on this site.

I never really liked the 'Freebird ' solo that much....way too long. I prefered to more obscure Skynyrd stuff solo wise and songwise. For me it was always stuff like "Poison Whiskey". "On The Hunt", "Junkie", "I know A Little",etc.
'No More Tears' is in no way close to the best solo on an Ozzy song....you would have to tap into the Randy or Jake era stuff for that.
But...I never put much into these lists anyway....they never sum up how I looked at anything....

I agree with Jesse... as usual. There have been a lot worse looking lists. I must concur with Duojett, also. Freebird doesn't belong here. Freebird is not a "solo"...it's a jam. It does rock, but it isn't what I would call a "solo". Best guitar solo? Sh*t...beauty is in the eye. I could list so many ass-kickin' guitar solo's that I'd still be sitting here this time tomorrow. It's all rock-and-roll!

As these lists go, it ain't too bad. At least it doesn't have anything from Nirvana or The White Stripes on it, so it gets kudos for that Could've done without "Paradise City" though. "Rock Bottom" by UFO should've made this list instead in my opinion

Definitely a little biased toward G&R as Jesse(I kind of wished they limited it to one song per artist because there is a hell of a lot of great solos out there) said & as Scott said their are far more worst lists out there. That said,I can agree w/ "Comfortably Numb"as #1 & I was shocked that 10 Years After's "I'm Going Home"made it.It seems like Alvin Lee is overlooked many times on these kind of lists so I was happy to see him listed. He's a great guitarist. One of my favorite solos of all-time is the solo during "Beyond the Moon" by Kim Mitchell off of Max Webster's'Mutiny Up My Sleeve" album. Also,I love the solo on Neil Young's "Cowgirl In the Sand"
