I seem to remember being more into Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Geen Jeans rather than Mister Rogers, although I did used to copy the way Mr. Rogers changed his shoes, tossing them from one hand to the other. Anyone remember that?

I seem to remember being more into Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Geen Jeans rather than Mister Rogers, although I did used to copy the way Mr. Rogers changed his shoes, tossing them from one hand to the other. Anyone remember that? The changing of clothes ritual was his signature thing. He also would hang his sweater on a hanger and put it in the closet. It was definitely a responsibility lesson for young'ns.

Eh? never heard these guys-hey i live in the UK Wow did you miss out. Mr. Rogers is now available on DVD in the states. I used to watch Masterpiece Theater when I was a tot because it followed Mr. Rogers & Sesame Street on our local PBS station.
