I'm going to see them tonight. I'll let you know if they rock. Tesla always has all four times I've seen them. I saw Sebastianless Skid Row a few years back but wasn't impressed. I've never seen Slaughter before.

Tesla will be good. They have always had all the original members...always thought Slaughter sucked. To me it's not Skid Row without Baz.....but I have heard Johnny Solinger is a good singer. Have not been impresed with new Skid Row I have heard on XM. Tesla alone though will be worth the price of admission.

Actually Tesla has replaced Tommy Skeoch on their current tour, but they still rock. They did a bunch of great covers when I saw them last month. I won't spoil it for you !

I think back in the day he had a heroin problem. My friend saw them at the House Of Blues last year for the 20th anniversery of the 'Five Man Acoustical Jam' and said he looked pretty bad. The band was also fighting alot backstage.

Tommy has had substance abuse problems off and on for a long time.
Too bad...the Hannon and Skeoch guitar duo is one of the best, ever.

In looking at the Tesla website, it seems that Tommy is not involved in the summer tour because his wife just had a baby and he wants to spend more time with them in Florida where he now lives.

It was a great show! Slaughter was a little boring. Mark could still sing OK and the band played well but Mark couldn't get anywhere near the high notes. The crowd was obviously disappointed when Slaughter was done and no "Up All Night."
Skid Row wasn't bad. Better than the last time I saw them. Their new vocalist is pretty good but when comparing him to Sebastian he falls short. His voice is OK but doesn't have the power or the presence of Bach.
Tesla kicked ass as usual. They started off with an awesome cover of "War Pigs." Frank Hannon did a lot of solos. He can really play. They featured him quite a bit through out the night. They played all their hits and rockers. They also did covers of "Heaven and Hell" and "Foxy Lady." Over all it was a great show. Tesla kicks all kinds of ass.
I've heard rumors that Tesla's next album was going to be covers. At first I was really disappointed because I really like Into The Now. But after hearing "War Pigs" and "Heaven and Hell" I think it could be interesting especially if they do songs like that.

To be honest, the whole "Covers Album" thing is being way overdone, but Tesla can do covers like no one else ! I can't wait to hear the album !
