Ran out of space to put some of the rest of Ian's catalog in here...safe to say that the man and his music sure does exceed the space we allow him... Anyway...it's been quiet as of late and I thought this might be a good time to put forth this question as to not clog up the board with meaningless polls...what's yer fave Jethro Tull tune?...I kinda love the guy myself...I think the stuff is probably the best I have ever had the chance to hear and experience...something about the way in which he can not only tell a story...but play the music all the way through...gotta love the man and the gang that backs him up!!!! Give er!!!!! I didn't do the "spell check" thing so spare me...hahahahaha... And WHOOPS!!! I forgot to add "other"...ah well, if need be...by all means...mention one of Ian's other great tunes!!!... ;D Thanks Kim

From that list, I will choose Minstrel In the Gallery. Great song with some really heavy Martin Barre riffs. I absolutely love all of their 70's releases, particularly Minstrel, Songs From the Wood and Heavy Horses.

For me it was a toss up between "Cross-Eyed Mary" & "Locomotive Breath" (although there is a lotta great tunes in the poll) in the end I went with "Locomotive Breath"

Skating Away... for me, because I really relate to the lyrics. But I'm a huge Tull fan and like all those listed.

I absolutely love Budapest from the Grammy award winning heavy metal album of the year Crest Of A Knave...
Truth be told...I could have picked any track off of this list...but Budapest is one of my all time favorite Tull songs, and because it's on the list, I went with it.

Ok, I'm a bit stupid when it comes to Jethro Tull. I like them, but don't have any of their albums. I don't know the title of the song, but the one that goes: "If Jesus saves, well he better save himself...." That's always been my favorite Tull song, but I never knew the title. I think I may have asked this question before and I'm thinkin' the answer was "Cross-eyed Mary", but I'll be damned if I can recall for sure, so I'm not gonna vote 'til I get the correct answer.

From a track not on the list... Hymn 43Oh father high in heaven - smile down upon your son whose busy with his money games - his women and his gun. Oh Jesus save me! And the unsung Western hero killed an Indian or three and made his name in Hollywood to set the white man free. Oh Jesus save me! If Jesus saves - well, He'd better save Himself from the gory glory seekers who use His name in death. Oh Jesus save me! I saw him in the city and on the mountains of the moon His cross was rather bloody He could hardly roll His stone. Oh Jesus save me! Thanks Kim

So now FROM THE LIST, I guess I'll have to go with "Aqualung"

I'm usually not much for live versions but this one is exceptional...(April 8th, 1982 West Germany). Thanks Kim

I love Jethro Tull...so it's pretty tough for me to narrow it down. Locomotive Breath is an ass kicker, though...so I'm voting for it.
