I have zero. I was thinking of starting to collect them. Every time I go into a record store I browse throughh the LPs.

I have about 50 or so left I lost a number of them (and 8 tracks) in a move years ago, and just bought cd's ever since. But like Pete said I was thinking of starting another collection, because the flea markets and thrift shops around here are loaded with some old stuff, don't know what condition they would be in but it would be kinda fun just to collect them for the cover art.

Couldn't tell you actual numbers but I do have the entire KISS catalog (until they stopped doing LP's) and bootlegs. Also some Nugent, REO, Gary Numan and Rick James bitch!

Probably between 300-400. I still pick them up when I find something out of print or cool.

I still have about a hundred or so...the ones I couldn't bear to get rid of. But...since my turntable died a long time ago, I haven't listened to them in ages. I pull 'em out every year or so and fondle them, though.

I should do that. Selling my Lps was a huge mistake. Of all the crap to haul around in life letters, photos and albums (records) are the only things worth the trouble. Lps... yep, I miss them. Should've just recorded them onto blank Cds like I used to... except onto cassette tapes.

Three. They are the first Roadmaster-album, Wireless (2nd album from 79) and Babys (Head first from 79). These are the ones that got away somehow when I sold all my vinyl years ago. Stupid move, I might add, in this day and age of CD-burners.

I was in one of the outlets last week and was looking at one on the shelf for "$99.00. (that would be $18 bucks US...haha). Last vinyl albums I had was tossed out in error on my mom's part waaayy back in the 80's. BTO, Sweet, Iron Butterfly, some old 78's including original pressings of Fats Domino, The Platters...along with some Beatles 45's...ones with the green apple on one side and the inside of the apple on the "B" side. Since I didn't live at home, and never played them...she figured I was done with them? DOH!!!!! Thanks Kim

Around 200. I got into music during the 80's and spent most of my money on cassettes. Started collecting albums only when my I found that my favorite artists' music was out-of-print. Most of my vinyl collection is previously owned as I used to search the used record stores for stuff from the OUtlaws, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels, Rossington Collins Band, Elvin Bishop, etc.

I forgot to mention as well... don't overlook and forget to check out EBay. I would imagine that there are many a retired rap and hip hop dj's out there willing to unload some used turntables for a "song" in order to help offset the rising cost of education in garnering that ever elusive 8th grade diploma...DOH!!!... Thanks Kim

Hey you guys, Great to not feel so alone with the old LP's / albums! I have between about 400 - 500 albums, about 50 12inch singles / 45's & about 400 7inch - "leather heels ...." got a little carried away there, sblack person sblack person! - singles / 45's! I really got into the collecting coloured (Spelling - English in me folks!) vinyls & pic discs & over the late 70's / 80's years I got quite a few autographed. Likewise, many I could never find on CD so still keep to this day & play occasionally on the turntable. Should probably get a new one though. I really need to hook up the turntable to the PC & copy them over. I'd love to frame many of many vinyl items, especially coloured vinyls & pic discs. Thought about the autographed stuff too, but would be concerned that the ink would deteriorate in constant daylight. Keep on rockin' folks! Cozy Al
