I don't get that channel, but I would have loved to have seen Judas Priest. Thanks Kim

THE FOO FIGHTERS WERE VERY IMPRESSIVE. I REALLY LIKED EVERYONE BUT GODSMACK.

They were all good and I really enjoyed the Kiss Tribute band, But My fave part of the show was Godsmackdoing the Judas Priest Medley I thought they did a Helluva job and I'm not a real big Godsmack fan.

I can't vote because I only caught part of it, but the Godsmack medley was pretty good ! Sully didn't try to hit the high notes, he just did it Godsmack style, which is how it should be !

Kiss tribute, I think they did an awesome job and were the only group who only practiced minutes before taking the stage

I keep missing it. The only part I've seen is the KISS performance.

Actually my favorite moment was Priest doing "Green Manaleshi..." but out of the list it was "You've Got Another Thing Comin".

I've finally seen it. I think the Foo Fighters Queen part was the best. The whole thing was cool though. One part did suck. The All American Rejects doing Photograph was terrible. The dude kept messing up the lyrics and they sounded awful.

This thread is intersting. The opinions vary so much.
I thought GODSMACK had a great idea, but the MIX was HORRIBLE. The guitar was so loud you could barely hear anything else. Their drummer is really good though. It was so bad you could see a look of "what the F*CK!?" on the guitar players face. They were still cool.
I like the all-star band. They were the best sounding IMO. Maybe the fact they had more time to get dialed in. Besides anytime ACE is onstage is great.
KISS sucks with the tribute guys IMO and I cannot support them in that incarnation. Many people still think it is KISS.....to me it is not. No matter how well they play.

Godsmack's drummer is great, always has been. Shannon Larkin really deserves a lot more recognition as a drummer.
Didn't notice the mic x problems...it *was* loud...but that's no bad thing.
The time I saw Godsmack live they were astounding, they were touring the Awake album and the mix sounded the same as it did on the tv. My brother and I still talk about that show even now, they were so good [so unexpectedly good] and so crushingly heavy that I don't think I'll ever forget it.

Oh well maybe I just like a more rounded mix.
I like the bass and the drums to be thumping, especially the kick. It should feel like a punch in the chest. I like guitar heavy in the mix but the rest of the band should be right on the same level. GODSMACK was all guitar and vocal, and I like them as a band so it is not that. It was not THEIR fault it was the soundman.
JUDAS PRIEST always has the best sound in a live situation that I have ever heard. Even back in the 70's when MANY bands sounded like crap, PRIEST was fantastic sounding. Rob's vocals were a little funny sounding on VH1 but the band sounded great.
