Just when you thought I was gonna post "KISS Alive"...I go and pull the rug out from underneath you...hahaha. Not sure if the live release was considered by the die hards as the quintisential "4th album" or not, so I figured I'd chart with the 4th studio release. If I'm incorrect in this assumption...surely someone...most likely Speedy will make things right here... ;D Anyway, I'm interested to see just which album out of the 4 mentioned garners the best interest. It will be a benefit to me as I am seriously looking into getting some of their music. Now keep in mind, the only album I am half way familiar with is "Dynasty"...but for what it's worth...I liked what I heard from that release...good or bad, I thought they had something happening. Getting the skinny on the earlier releases will be much appreciated and will only help in the decision making process...sounds pretty clinical doesn't it???...now ya know why I have such a small collection of music...I'm a picky sonofabitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...I want nothing but the best from any group out there... Thanks Kim

This actually was the album that turned me into a music freak.I basically only had 45's of AM pop radio hits & always was an Elton John fan so for my 15th birthday 2 of my sister's bought me the same Elton Album,"Here & There".I knew Kiss did R & R All Night & Beth & knew they just put out R & R Over so my sister exchanged the Elton record for Kiss.Of course I found out Beth & R&RAN weren't on the album but as soon as the needle hit the groove I found out what R & R was all about & from there I discovered Aerosmith,Ted Nugent,Blue Oyster Cult,Angel,Sabbath,.etc... I went with"I Want You".Shortly after getting the record I discovered Don Kirshner's Rock Concert & I'll never forget Kiss playing "I Want You","Love Em Leave Em", & "Hardluck Woman"

MR SPEED. Why they never released that song is a mystery. it would have been a hit IMO.
Warpig is right DESTROYER is number 4.
You are right as well. ALIVE! is considered by many to be the greatest KISS album if not the GREATEST live album of all time.

Destroyer was their 4th studio album, but anyways I went with Mr. Speed Warpig, Speedy...thanks for the correction on this one. The source I used at a glance had R&RO listed before Destroyer. Upon further research, it appears Destroyer was released in March of 76' followed by R&RO in November of the same year. My apologies and I stand corrected. Thanks Kim

Asking me to choose a "fave" KISS song from the 70's is a task I just can't accomplish....I love them all, I suppose I love them all equally! But I suppose if there were a hypothetical gun to my head, I would choose...... Makin' Love.

Seeing how Bucky and I have been friends for more years than I can remember, this is the album that also turned me into a music fanatic. Seeing them on Don Kirschner just solidified me as a KISS fanatic.
