Here's a web site my buddy turned me on to. You type in a band or song that you like, and the site then plays other bands that it feels resembles what you typed in. Its a cool way to discover different bands. For example, I typed in Iron Maiden, and it played a couple of songs from a band called Hammerfall. I never heard then before, but they kinda rock. Each band or song you type in is saved under your user name as a "radio staion" that you can come back to. Pretty cool.

It's OK. I put in Silvertide and than it played a bunch of mall punk. So I indicated that I didn't like those songs and it starts playing hardcore punk. After I kept hitting don't play it started to play cookie monster metal. So I thought maybe Silvertide was a little too obscure for Pandora and typed in Van Halen. It had more of an idea what to do with Van Halen but it was all familiar stuff like Foreigner, Def Leppard etc. I still haven't found anything I like better for playing the stuff I like and finding new music than Launchcast radio on Yahoo.
