Favorite double album - from the list
Back in vinyl’s heyday sometimes an album was too long to put on one record. Or a band recorded a plethora of material while working on their latest album. This sometimes resulted in the “double album” or “two record set”.
I realize there’s a lot of “double live” albums but for no particular reason I decided to stick with conventional “studio” albums (and NOT best of, compilations, or soundtracks) that were released as two record sets. Some of the younger board members might be surprised by some of the titles as a few ended up on one disc when released on the CD format.
Pick your favorite!

Nice poll. I would have added CREAM's "Wheels of Fire" probably.

ELO - OUT OF THE BLUE There's nothing wrong with ELO! I was going to vote for ELO because I didn't think anyone else would. I just love seeing the love for ELO! Let's give The Wall a run for its money!

I had to choose between Genesis and what I eventually went with. The Who.

It was close, but I went with the Who in the end. Physical Graphiti was a photo-finish second though.

I went with The Wall.Just saw the movie recently too. You mean the film with Bob Geldoff? I don't think I've seen that since it first came out ... in 1983? I actually got to see it in a movie theatre and went opening weekend. Didn't get in until like the midnight show because all the earlier showings were sold out which kind of surprised me. And that one, I must have gotten like the last seat in the place. A pen pal of mine at the time commented he thought it was like the guy in the movie ("Pink") was on one constant acid trip! I think I agreed! I didn't know about Syd then ... Hmmm ...
