I got Pat Benatar’s Get Nervous and by 1985 I had to get a new one because I wore mine out. I ended up buying three before I finally got it on CD.

In '82 I was "into" gettin' the heck outta high school (graduating that is) getting a job and a car.
Musically, it was mostly Journey in '82 and just getting into the harder stuff like Judas Priest and AC/DC. Too, what ever was playing on the radio, though some of it I really didn't like
Yeah the 80's was when Mtv rocked!
All you youngsters quit rubbing it in! LOL!

I forgot to mention, this was the year that I was re-introduced to Jethro Tull and have never looked back since suffice it to say that this is my all time favourite Tull release. I guess the reason I didn't mention it because it wasn't a so called "mainstream" album and had little if no airplay here in Canada. All I can say is that I wore out not only an 8-track tape but also a cassette tape ...TWICE". Is it possible to wear out a cd?...if it is, then I am well on my way in doing so. It was due to a new co-worker that brought this album into the office as a new hire in 1982. He was a year younger than I was and was a big Tull fan. Turned me back onto the group and I thank him for that...unfortunately, I hope he can hear my thanks as he passed away at the age of 41 of a heart attack a few years back. Dave, The Broadsword lives on my friend... Thanks Kim
