Pick one and indicate a reason by all means... Not just because of what they are known for in their own right but more so for their individual contribution to the album itself.
Thanks Kim

Kim...another tough one...I love the band as a whole, and it's hard to pick one individual, but I went with Tom Petty because he's my favorite artist outside of the band.

Who was Jeff Lynne before the Wilburies? I voted for him because I didn't recognize the name from any other group. The others I thought were all better in their separate respective careers.

Jeff Lynne of Electric Light Orchestra. Jeff was the guy that actually helped pull this whole thing together.
Along with the second Wilbury release (sans the late Roy Orbison) by producing the entire album. Gave it that "ELO" touch which in my opinion helped sell it to the masses commercialy. Jeff was also was responsible for producing Harrison's "Cloud Nine" album, Orbisons "Mystery Girl" and Tom Petty's "Full Moon Fever" album just to name a few during those years in the late 80's.
I love his talent and is the reason why I have always been partial to the ELO catalog of music. As commercial as a lot of may have seemed, I still like the sound that Jeff was able to put forth in the albums. I even got a kick out of the fact that he produced an album for Dave Edmunds in the early 80's with Information.
Thanks Kim

Maybe, but he is a genius, and his songs almost always have something to say. One of the greatest IMO.

Where's the love for Roy Orbison?
I'm voting for Roy Orbison!
When I think of the Traveling Wilburys, those are whose vocals come to my mind first. Don't know why, they just do.
I’m so tired of being lonely I still have some love to give Won’t you show me that you really care

Tweeter And The Monkey Man is the best thing they ever did, so I voted for Dylan.
After that, I'd have picked Orb, because Not Alone Anymore is the next best track.
