Riding the Strom out!..Golden country is good too, Agreed. But on a whole, the "You Get What You Play For" live thing is my favorite! They kicked ass so much back then!

Especially side 3 of that album! Flying Turkey Trot Gary's Guitar Solo 157 Riverside Avenue Ridin' The Storm Out Too bad I can't vote for a REO album side! LOL! Ok, I'll go along with Ridin' The Storm Out with the caveat that it's a live version. Oh, and on A Decade Of Rock And Roll 1970 to 1980, AGAIN on side 3, there's a "new live recording" of both 157 Riverside Avenue and Ridin' The Storm Out. They're a little more risque than the versions on You Get What You Play For, which makes me laugh now.

AGREED GREAT LIVE ALBUM THAT IS VERY UNDERATED. I REMEMBER LAUGHING AT PEOPLE IN 1980 WHEN HI INFIDELITY CAME OUT. AND PEOPLE SAID THAT THEY WERE A NEW BAND. OH YEA...... 157 RIVERSIDE AVE GOT MY VOTE

I like a lot of their songs. Even the sappy ones. The one that stands out for me is Back On the Road Again.

I went with Golden Country, although I like Alot of early Reo Speedwagon, they really were a good rock band pre 80s

"Ridin The Storm Out" from that list. Although i'm partial to "Meet me on the mountain" and "Easy Money" both off NINE LIVES

I would go with BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN. As much as I guess we can all agree that Cronin's voice has just about become the voice of REO, Bruce Hall's vocals sound great on this song, which by the way is one of thier more rockin songs in my mind.

I voted for Roll with the Changes, but I love Gary's solo in Keep On Lovin You. I had their live album at one time and remember the Flyin Turkey Trot from that one! LOL! Love it!

what a great idea for a thread! it seems with all the REO-bashing (probably due at least in part to their cheezified 80's output, some of which i still like regardless), some people forget the rockin' jams REO have released. it's a hard choice, but i think i'll go with "keep pushin'"

Hard to beat "Roll With The Change" IMO. I agree ! I think I actually vomited when I first heard High Infidelity ! I'm sure it was great for all of the 15 year old girls at the time ! Ha ha !
