Led Zep will be re-uniting for a World Tour in 2006. Something that fans have been waiting for decades to happen. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant have decided NOT to join the re-united ZEP. The band will be:
John Paul Jones - bass, keys Manny Charlton - guitars Derek St Holmes - vocals Kenny Aranoff - drums
This line up has the full support of Plant and Page who wish to move on in their careers rather than do a nostalgia act. ZEP will be doing a double bill with the CARS.
This should be the biggest tour of the decade!

My thoughts exactly Led Zeppelin is one of the groups you can't change singers or lead guitarists, won't work

I was just commenting on all this "New" CARS BS. Funny all these bands say KISS is milking it and low class. Yet they turn around and do the same things. I have come to the conclusion that the only time bands turn their noses up at stuff like this is when they didn't think of it first ;D

Led Zep w/o Page & Plant is like Rolling Stones w/o Jagger & Richards The Beatles w/o Lennon & McCartney KISS w/o Stanley & Simmons Hall & Oates w/o Hall & Oates.......... How can they even think of calling this "Led Zeppelin"?

John Paul Jones - bass, keys Manny Charlton - guitars Derek St Holmes - vocals Kenny Aranoff - drums I know it's a joke, but I'd be willing to bet that Derek St Holmes NOW can sing the Zeppelin catalog better than Robert Plant can NOW.

They are going to headline a festival this summer.....The other bands are KISS Molly Hatchet the Cars Creedence Grand Funk Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Molly Hatchet is the only band on this list who has released new material in the last 5 or 6 years. And Kiss is the only band who disguises their replacement players to look like their original members.

WOULDN'T THAT LINEUP MAKE FOR ONE HELL OF A SUPERGROUP? Actually, it would! They are all such unusual talents though. Maybe it wouldn't mix.
