It's a festival called Country Thunder. It's mostly all country music. The night I'm going must be southern rock night.

Gotta give us a review. I've heard bad things about ZZ Top the last few years and bad things about Skynyrd since Hughie Thomasson left, leaving them with only 2 guitarists. CDB should be good. I saw them a few years ago and they were playing alot of their older stuff (i.e "Saddle Tramp", "Trudy", etc)

I saw ZZ Top 3 summers ago w Nugent and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on the 'Mescalero' tour and they were still really good, don't expect any surprises though, they'll play a few songs from their new album most likely then all the hits, still a good show though, not much of a stage show, but it's ZZ Top

I emailed one of the DJ's here in Dallas about who will be with Lkynyrd Skynyrd when they get here he says might be Brett Michaels doing his country act.. ..last time I saw ZZTOP was at the Clapton's Crossroads concert..seems like they can do a good concert but not sure if that are right now..I think they got LAZY!

Two summers ago I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ-top in concert. It was short. ZZ-Top played a few moments over a half hour and the same for Skynyrd. They were tight but definitely NO suprises or shining moments... just run through the mill...
