Today you can finally go down to your record store to pick up a copy of Vivian Campbell's "TWO SIDES OF IF." It is not only the very first solo album by Viv, it is also the the very first time a Def Leppard member releases a full-length solo album. "TWO SIDES OF IF" contains eleven covers of Vivian's favorite songs from various blues artists such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Rory Gallagher, and more. Additionally, song number 12 on the album is a brand new Billy Gibbons original called "WILLIN' FOR SATISFACTION", which also features the ZZ Top veteran on guitar. The album may not contain the rock music you're used to hear from Def Leppard, but you can expect Vivian's guitar work to rock as usual! To celebrate the release of the album, Vivian will be playing a one-night-only show, backed up by the (almost) exact same line-up that recorded the album, this Wednesday at The Mint in Los Angeles. The stage will be shared by Viv, Terry Bozzio (drums), Bruce Cornett (guitar), Michael Fell (Mississippi harp), Tor Hyams (piano) and Lou Castro (bass, backing up for Mark Browne). For more information about "TWO SIDES OF IF" (and other Vivian Campbell endeavours), please go to Vivian's official website at www.VivianCampbell.com where you will find sound samples, backstories, news & updates, exclusive photos, and a section in which Vivian answers questions sent in by the fans

I received a advanced cd of this release. Thought it was pretty dang good, just don't expect Jake E Lee metal blues riffs.
