This week is our local fair and, as seems to be the case every year, I met up with Accept's Peter Baltes again. He says he's STILL working on a solo project that'll be a kind of Christian hard rock thing (he's been saying that every time I see him). He's been working with former Metallica manager Johnny Z and Wolf Hoffmann (Accept guitarist) may contribute to the CD as well. In fact, he told me Wolf was just in the area earlier in the week and is thinking of moving here . Anyhow, that was my little brush with fame for the day, I didn't really think it was worth putting on the public message board, but I had to tell SOMEBODY ;D. I was trying to get him to come see my band in a few weeks, but he said he can't be out that late anymore, I think the exact quote was "my eyes close at 11" Anyhow, I just thought I'd share .

I might do that yet, Frank. Now, I'm still a little star-struck as I just got done giving him and Wolf Hoffman a tour of the family farm! Apparently Wolf went from Peter's earlier this week up to Conneticutt and decided to drop by Peter again on his way home. I had told Peter about the farm on Friday, so the two of them stopped in this morning (luckily I was there!) Both are extremely cool people and have only a hint at a German accent anymore. Wolf is looking to buy a place in the area, so I may get to see him more in the future as well.
Maybe as a group we can come up with questions for an interview. I'm such a fan that alot of Accept questions seem like common knowledge to me. I got Peter's # now and might be going to check out his studio in the next week or so,. Should I think of it, I'll definitely ask if he's willing to do an interview.

All of our interviews have been done by email, so it's pretty stress free and they have time to come up with answers.
