I have no idea who's playing the halftime show this year, but I'm pretty sure it's someone or some band I don't like and it'll suck. What artist or artists SHOULD do the halftime show?

Yeah, man! He'd be great! It'll NEVER happen, but it SHOULD! I was thinking about my answer and, I dunno. Anyone who would go over well is way past their prime and newcomers like, say, Blackberry Smoke, just don't bring the energy to a live performance for it to work IMO. That said, original or not, Foreigner would be great! Brad Paisley puts on a great show and is still in his relative prime. |

Skynyrd would probably have a decent connection with a Football Crowd…Cheap Trick might go over pretty good

Ted, Skynyrd, Foreigner, Paisley, Cheap Trick, Definitely, any of those acts would have blown that show away!! That was horrible yesterday! One of the worst (and I thought last year was pretty bad) and then they send H.E.R. Out there to play a few average guitar licks and now she’s an amazing guitarist?!?!(maybe she is a decent guitarist(I wouldn’t know) but I seen some posts comparing her to Prince after last night LOL) I have nothing against them using Hip Hop but bring in a few other genres that the Fans can enjoy…Have a a Hip Hop/ or Pop Artist, Rock band Or maybe even someone like Green Day, and Country is Huge so also throw in a country act… What about Def Leppard? They may be a decent choice for the fans that would be watching the Super Bowl (even though I only like their First 3 albums…Never liked Hysteria but Pour Some Sugar was a huge tune)…As you mentioned Foreigner, it may be cool to see them and Journey sharing the stage alternating hit tunes |
