I have never seen this much music coming out that I, personally, am excited for. Now, I expect some albums to be a lot better than others, but this is the list of all the new ones I’ll be checking out this Fall. I can’t remember the last time three albums I cared about dropped on the same day, and there are THREE days that happens in the next six weeks. It’s gonna be a great soundtrack to College Football Saturdays this Fall.
August 21st: The Sword August 21st: Ghost August 21st: Kadavar August 28th: Motörhead September 4th: Iron Maiden September 11th: Slayer September 18th: Chris Cornell September 18th: Metric September 18th: David Gilmour September 25th: Graveyard September 25th: Silversun Pickups October 2nd: Clutch October 2nd: Queensrÿche October 2nd: Trivium October 9th: Coheed and Cambria October 9th: Monster Magnet December: Baroness

I'm not sure what happened between me and Buckcherry. But I just don't like their albums any longer. Their first two are the only ones I still listen to, if I listen to them at all anymore. I think the Fuck Album was the nail in the coffin for me.
**Well...I JUST NOW listened to their new song, The Madness, for the 1st time and it isn't that bad.

Love the first two but don't really care for the rest. Haven't heard the latest yet. I also enjoy the Josh Todd solo disc that Spacel0rd sent me.

I'm still trying to pick up lost classic albums from the '70's and 80's.

If I don’t keep my music collection fresh with new music my life seems to feel stale.

Looking forward to the new Iron Maiden album. A double album at that. The new single "Speed Of Light" is good, but I think the album will be epic. I hope they do a proper tour in the U.S. in 2016. I have seen them 5 times since 2010 and they never disappoint.

Ok....im listening to the new Buckcherry. It's far from perfect. But it's the best thing they've done in 10 years.

If I don’t keep my music collection fresh with new music my life seems to feel stale. I totally get this, but I have issues with letting go. There's a handful of solid old bands that I run to over and over. I appreciate checking out the bands you guys mention. Having a concise starting point using your suggestions helps cut to the chase when it comes to expanding my horizon. There's mega-loads of music out in the wilderness, but I've only got so much time and man, there's so, so much, "Eh, ...OK, nuthin-special-bands".
