This is how I spent my 4th Of July.....
Can you spot me? I'll give you a hint 1:36 and 3:26. Don't blink, you'll definitely miss me! Luckily, this is the "preview". The guy videoed the entire afternoon and evening. Hopefully he'll have some complete songs to show y'all soon!

Awesome...was that Back in the USA? It was actually a Shambles Band original song called "Livin' In The USA", but it does, uhm "borrow" from certain songs.  |

Well, Here's the complete 43 South show from July 4th, 2015....warts and all. Flame away. In our defense: 1) We missed a lot of rehearsals leading up to this. I don't think we played any of these songs since mid-May. 2) Don' t let the recording deceive you, The microphone for this video was at the soundboard, some 50 feet from the stage. They fucked up and had the stage monitors OFF during our set. We could not hear ourselves sing. For the most part, I think the lead vocals were unaffected, but the harmonies were definitely off. 3) We were the last act of a party that started at 2pm. Tony and I had already played with the Shambles and were drinking all afternoon. I know: Shouldn't be an excuse, but I thought I should warn you. First few songs we are clearly getting used to how we sound on that stage with that PA and other people's amplifiers. By the last few songs, I think we have a handle on it. |
