Is the fact that this band did two rock opera albums based on the video game MegaMan seem ridiculous? Yes. Is it odd that this band somehow can take the influences of Queen, Pink Floyd, Meatloaf, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Alan Parsons & Radiohead and mix them with the feel of 80’s soundtracks like Vision Quest, Streets of Fire and Eddie and the Cruisers…then throw in some orchestral interludes…and make it all work? Yes. But, damn, it’s a fun ride. And a lot of it is actually danceable.

I like it! Only influences I really hear is Meatloaf. A large helping of Meatloaf (it's ok though, I like Meatloaf) along with a "Frontiers"-era Journey guitar solo, just enough Bruce Springsteen to notice, but not enough for me to shut it off and, possibly some Darkness by accident. I like it though. Don't love it, but I think they are capable of producing something that I might love. Might have to check out some more of them.

Veddy interesting. So, this is from one of their rock operas about the game you mention? It's a bit unusual, but with a big sound and enjoyable depth. Good find, Spacel0rd.
